i was questioned on my tip amount on my order...... i left tip for a less than half mile delivery... i would pick up but im working.. i have never heard of a worker questioning a tip amount over the phone. they said the drivers ONLY WORK FOR TIPS.... isnt that illegal? i have loved china taste weekly for year... they just lost a customer over that.... then driver questioned my review when he got to my work. How unprofessional.

My family and I mostly order delivery, we are a family of 6 and we stick to our usual most of the time which consists of 4 orders totaling $74 and change. They have the best pork/beef fried rice around, best ribs boneless or otherwise and they usually have friendly staff answering the phone.
Got takeout here on a Saturday night 9/14/24.
Opened the order at home and noted one of the orders was wrong (got shrimp fried rice instead of chicken). Rice wasn’t fried, just warm white rice with bland steamed shrimp.
Other order was sweet and sour chicken. Was expecting pineapple, red pepper, onion and crispy chicken pieces in a sweet, smooth sweet and sour sauce. Nope. Some reddish sauce was dribbled over Fried chicken fingers with the fried exterior peeling off in a sheet. This, sitting atop of a bed of warm white rice.
Didn’t look good or taste good.
Egg drop soup was oily, and the oil was the only flavor.
This was THE WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life!

I love the taste of the boneless spare ribs but it seems like caramelized fat.. barely any "meat" and the chicken could have been cooked ALil more and I'm not too crazy about egg in my rice I prefer a pork fried rice and not have to pay extra money for it..

This is my "go-to" place for Chinese food in the area. Typically I order delivery, although occasionally I'll pick up my order if I'm out (they haven't been able to offer dine-in since the COVID lockdown). Most times my food is delivered in less than 20 minutes from when I placed the order. If it's longer, then I know they're slammed with orders and don't mind as delay is very rare. When I call, my order is taken quickly in a pleasant and professional way. Their delivery driver, Keith, is great! Super nice and always ensures my food arrives safely. When I open that big brown bag of yumminess, the food is always hot and the containers are filled to the max. For me, each dish is flavorful and filling. I especially like the flavor of the pork fried rice. Their chicken chow mein and roast pork with bean sprouts are my favorites. I also alternate between the beef teriyaki and the sweet and sour chicken. The General Tso's Chicken is also great, as is the green pepper steak with onion!The thing that impresses me the most is how hard working the staff are. They are super appreciative of their customers and do their best to please their patrons. I greatly appreciate their dedication and great food. I'm glad they are nearby to provide great food at a reasonable price.
