Great service and food, have a five star
No complaints. Got the usually breakfast grub. I very rarely give 5 stars cause no ones perfect.
our waiter Mathew that works at Denny's in Vernon Connecticut does an awesome job my friend and I go every Sunday morning for breakfast and Mathew is the best waiter around! well done!
We waited 15 mins to be seated and there were tons of open tables. The person seating everyone didn't seem to care that people kept walking out and at one point he just shrugged as they said they were leaving, as I took the photo a couple walked in and was told it was about a 15 min wait time and you can see all the empty tables. If they were short handed we should have been told that. My wife was bitten on her ankles by something there. The waitress was OK but obviously overworked and tired. I will not be going back here.
Quick , Friendly Service and Good Quality Food! Morgan was our server and she was delightful ! She had a great attitude and was able to answer any questions we had! I got the new Short-Berry Pancake Breakfast and loved it I hope they keep it around for a while! Will definitely be returning again.
Quick and friendly service. I liked that our server wore a mask and gloves when serving. Food was good and decently priced. Stopped here after picking my mom up from Bradley Airport. Definitely a good spot to stop and eat when in of food and familiarity.
Always a good time. Got the $6.99 anytime breakfast. Great deal! Food was hot. Cooked just right. Waitress was polite and friendly. Went around 4pm on Thursday. Good time to go.
Stopped here Friday morning 4/15 with the family. We walked in and weren't even greeted by anyone. We then were sat down, we all checked out the menu and were ready to order, 15 mins go by and still no sign of our waiter/waitress. No one even acknowledged us! We weren't offered drinks, coffee, or anything. We finally asked a passing employee who was bringing out another tables order if someone would be by our table to take our order, she said she would get someone for us. The lady told another lady that we were waiting to be helped. Next I hear out of the other lady's mouth "What do they need"?Seriously?? We weren't there for our health! This Denny's needs to get it together, and train their employees to be hospitable and welcoming. It doesn't cost anything to smile. Needless to say, we just ended up standing up and walking out once we heard that lady's unprofessional question. I highly doubt I'll be back to this Denny's. Vernon Diner treated us MUCH better!
The food was fine and Our waitress was nice but exaughsted and drastically over worked. There was only two waitresses and they had to be hostess and ring out at register too. The wait was extensive each step along the way. I understand there is a worker shortage, but let's face the facts . If the income is there the employee will follow in time. This is the same at several Dennys locations
The manager Lori did an awesome job making my meal.

The waitress was super nice but the appeal of Dennys is that it's affordable. Not anymore. They removed the $2-4-6-8 menu so two breakfasts and one coffee was over $30. Unfortunately, I will not be returning unless it returns to being affordable.
Although the food looked lack luster, the taste was on point particularly the omelett with poblano peppers since it appeared to be tossed on the plate. Side order of Swedish crapes with lingonberries was a pleasant surprise. Our server was a bright spot in out visit, attentive without hovering.
Family went for brunch and staff is running crazy. Thier meals show up and I wait. I ordered a Cobb salad as it has no wheat. The photo is what came later. I said I ordered Cobb salad she says yes hands me the salad. I ask her to get a menu. Now I get a plate with extras to make my own Cobb. Hating Denny's now. Will not be back.
People seem to forget wait times are based on not just how busy it is, but how many tables one server can handle. This location does their best. The staff is always nice, which can be hard with some of the attitudes they get. I've been served multiple times by Alisa M and she has always been great. Even when she seems like she might be having an off day. The host always seems to try their best and tries to acknowledge everyone as soon as they can. Keep up the good work and don't let the haters keep you down. It's a rough time to be a short staffed restaurant.
I'm just very disappointed with our last order from dennys. It was so upsetting since my family have waited so long for lunch and what we recieved was not edible. What a waste of money and the manager was not at all helpful, I felt very disrespected when I explained my situation which I never actually return food so thats how bad it was. I just refuse to spend any more money at a place like that again. The crepes were chewy and soggy loaded with watery strawberries and the pancakes that actually came with one of the meals came with rotting bananas and strawberries. Even the shakes that I thought were going to be ok were not even edible. What a mistake ordering food from here. Never again!
