Listen, the food is no joke...it's delicious and worth the money you're going to have to spend. I know this is going to sound strange, but what impressed me the most was Mr. Joe, who runs the front of the restaurant. He could teach a master class in hospitality. I was amazed how even when he was the only one on the floor, he kept track of every patron who came in, or whoever was on the phone and knew in which order people were to be served. He took orders & got them right without having to write them down. Go for the food for sure, but enjoy the entertainment of watching Mr. Joe work.

Hands down the best Indian food in CT. The restaurant is is a hidden gem in a small plaza. The food is top tier, I've had the pleasure of eating Dishoom in London and honestly, this isn't that far off. The classics- tikka, garlic naan, and aloo gobi are fresh, and flavored to perfection. I highly recommend stopping!

We always have an excellent experience at Utsav. The food is phenomenal with generous portions, the drinks are delicious, and the service is extremely attentive and welcoming. Our favorites are the biryani, butter chicken, and saag paneer. It is one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve been to in CT. I highly recommend Utsav for anyone looking for quality cuisine and a comfortable dining experience.

This is a white tablecloth fine dining establishment with impeccable service for an Indian restaurant. The menu is mostly muglai, North Indian and the classic British Indian dishes to suit the local palate. The food was on the pricer end but that is expected of such an institution. Had the chicken biriyani, kerala goat with puri. I shall not comment on the taste and quality of the food as I've been taught not to say anything if you don't have anything nice to say at all. They did give a complimentary dessert at the end and that I must say was a nice touch.

The food is incredibly tasty and very clearly made fresh to order. Our party had someone with a nut allergy that the chef happily accommodated. We also often order takeout if we aren’t able to come in. Love the bright colors and curtains!
The owner is very nice and makes great suggestions. The food is spectacular and the mixed drinks are professionally prepared. Perfect place for date night. Don't worry if you have never tried Indian food, Utsav in Vernon will help you and you will love it!
