“3 of us came to watch my granddaughter play in a basketball tournament at SCSU. We had Googled 'dive bars' on the way. We were not disappointed. The neighborhood atmosphere was evident. From the 3 friendly patrons who greeted us to the genial bartender. A 'Cheers' atmosphere. The 'melt in your mouth' burgers were the best ever. And we were pleasantly amazed with the bill! A definite place to return.“
“Ok. . . I don’t leave reviews, but tonight at Hydeaway, I ordered a daily special: Pork Amatriciana. Never heard of it. Internet says it’s a big deal in some areas of Italy. Friggin GREAT!! $10.00!!!!“
