Love this little local joint. Especially in the warmer months with the live music and sitting outside. The food has always been consistent and top-notch, from dinner to the brunches. Mixed drinks are always on point with many options. The service has always been a pleasure.

Do yourself a favor. Your tastebuds will Thank You. By far the BEST Restaurant you could visit in the area. Trust me You will appreciate the kindness and assistance of the staff, the utensils are CLEAN ( very important!) the atmosphere is excellent. The restaurant is Clean and aesthetically, appealing. Seating is comfortable. The Chef will accommodate your desired adjustments in a meal if needed. The owner/ Manager (Debbie) is on top of her game. You won’t be disappointed in anything you order. From appetizers to salads to entrees to specials to dessert from beginning to end of your meal you will be saying over and over again how good it is !!!! And you can’t wait to come back. I grew up in Connecticut but currently reside in Florida. This restaurant is on my list to visit Everytime I’m in town. Won’t miss it. Overpriced. $15 for a frozen veggie burger?its a nice place, but only 1 pinot wine choice? For those prices imi would think cloth napkins. Not pizza joint silverware rolled in a napkin. Servers were very nice.

I had my mother's memorial at Gaetano's yesterday.. Let me just tell you the food was amazing and the staff was just as good. We had the back banquet room. It was beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend Gaetano's for any gathering or just an awesome restaurant in general. Special thank you to our hostess, Christine. Age really was so accommodating. THANK YOU GAETANO'S!

Can't handle a crowd !!! Nor cook a burger... friggin thing was a hockey puck.. and they take off a couple of bucks...... i didn't even finish it nor did they offer to make it right. Another guest in our party hotvthe shepards pie special both he and the woman at another table bit into very hard corn kernels. Fries are def not hand cut as the waitress promised they were. Bartender on last night was unable to make a decent martini. This was 2nd time I've been there during Wallingford Stroll... you'd think they'd be properly staffed and be prepared. Pretty disappointing. I've also been for drinks with friends and was refused patio service... they made us go intonthe bar and get our own. Oddly other people outside were served. So many folks rave about this place... I wish I could... but epic fail 3rd time was not a charm.

We had our Son’s Rehearsal dinner at Gaetano’s Tavern on Main in Wallingford. The reserved room was decorated lovely, the food was very good and the service was excellent. The waitress was always smiling & very helpful. Everything was just perfect. I highly recommend Gaetano’s Tavern on Main.

Held a 50th anniversary party for my wife's aunt & uncle in the private room using the on-site buffet menu for 30 attendees. Everything, EVERYTHING, was PERFECT! The food was phenomenal, the setting comfortable, the service (special shout-out to Jill) absolutely top notch. We could not be happier with the way Debbie handled all our requests!
