The Smithy Express is a delightful specialty drink with nascent dust including warming spices. Food is fresh and flavors pair well. Drew and staff are gregarious and welcoming.

Alyssa and the team at 9 Main, Smithy Cafe went above and beyond for our event, catering to every need with delicious options for vegetarians, gluten-free guests, and even the toughest food critics. Alyssa’s responsiveness and detailed proposal made planning easy, and their food truly impressed everyone. Highly recommend them for any event!

I was so uncomfortable waiting for a coffee. There's no space to wait, customers getting in each other's way, staff walking back and forth with no politeness. An excuse me would help. Waited and waited for my coffee order when someone finally asked me if I was waiting. The person who took my order went to the garbage, pulled out my slip and handed it to the barista. Definitely not work to $7+ !

Nice place to stop for coffee and a sweet treat. The lemon bar and cheese danish were very good. Friendly staff. Clean restroom.

They have excellent vegan and gluten free options in their baked goods. You can also pickup bread and local ice cream here. Cool outdoor seating but inside it is kind of small, but cool ambiance. Nice breakfast selections, too.
Improvements:
A. Should offer coconut milk as an alternative option for coffee and tea for people with nut and oat sensitivities.
B. When you buy an expresso there they should offer it in a porcelain expresso small
mug not a 16 oz. Glass mug.
C. They get busy sometimes and this can cause the staff to not be as polite as they should be and happy to see you, the customer. I like a happy vibe not a stressed out rush vibe in a coffee shop.
4.5/5 = 90% = A- or B+ rating

Dietary restrictions: Need to offer coconut milk for people with oat and nut sensitivity. Coconut is a fruit not a nut.

Such a cute cafe! The ambiance is fantastic. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Across from their market, which is also adorable. They were busy so no overly friendly or talkative , but fairly fast with food and drinks so I appreciate that.

I got their signature espresso drink- it was good. My daughter got their lemonade soda water drink- it was good as well but not full of a lot of taste (read sugary for tennagers)

She also got the Gf scone, which she liked but was a little on the hard side. They had a variety of GF options, which is great.

I got the crossiant which was delicious and the avocado toast. I liked the sprouts on the toast, but the toast itself was a little bland and very expensive for what it was.

I’m giving 5 stars bc of the atmosphere, the food allergy options (like Gf) , and I think if I tried something else, maybe I would like it more than the avo toast.

Amazing breakfast burrito special. It had something deliciously crunchy inside, maybe tater tots? Anyway, it was the best. The breakfast egg muffin was also very good. The Golden Milk muffin left a lot to be desired. There's some parking in front of the building. LOTS of outside seating area and beautiful views.

What a great coffee sandwich shop for this town. It’s been around for as long as I remember. The food is delicious and the service very friendly. Worth every bite.

So disappointed, I was really excited to have lunch here after seeing it on Instagram. Unless you are in the higher tax bracket you won’t feel comfortable here. The staff was rude, staring and can’t be bothered. The gentleman sitting next to me proceeded to take his golf shoes off to change into flip flops without any concern that I was eating. That’s the clientele vibe. The same for the shop across the way. $100.00 for 4 people for sandwiches, I’ll pass next time.
