Cool old school restaurant diverse menu
The White Horse has been our “go-to” for date night, special occasions and family/friend get togethers for over a decade. I enjoy everything about it. The food is phenomenal, flavorful and unique. I have had almost everything on the menu with the exception of seafood because seafood just isn’t my thing. The White Horse restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience in a cool old English manor style setting, complete with an English cab in the parking lot. The menu features large entrees like delicious burgers cooked to perfection and the best fish and chips around. The food is outstanding, making it possibly the best value for your money in the area. Recent visitors have praised the Chicken Pot Pie as delicious and the Fish and Chips as fresh and crispy. The Shepherd's Pie has also been noted for its rich filling and perfectly baked crust.
Despite potential parking challenges during busy hours, the friendly and professional service enhances the good family atmosphere. Diners have enjoyed a lovely view of the river and a beautiful room with a fireplace. Desserts, including a chocolate treat, have been recommended, and many plan to return to explore more of the menu. The quality of the dishes and the inviting atmosphere make it worth the drive for a memorable meal.
