Very good food and drinks, friendly service. Indoor and outdoor tables available. The capucino and mocha were excellent, as were the breakfast sandwiches. Good bakery selection. We keep returning here whenever we're in Litchfield county, highly recommended.

Good coffee. I also wanted to buy a ceramic mug for my collection but they wanted $35 for them. That's a bit out of my budget range for a mug.

The Smithy Cafe is a charming in welcoming shop market & eatery located in New Preston connecticut. We opted for breakfast on this particular trip with the shaved steak burrito filled with eggs potatoes spinach aioli highlighting our breakfast choice. We also had a classic sandwich which was on a toasted English muffin. Both of the sandwiches were delicious and filling and we decided that we would definitely stop on our way out through the western part of Connecticut to grab...
