Used to love Big Franks when they first opened. A few years later every thing was really dry & we didn't go back for many years. Heard there was new owners since way back then, so tried it again. Ribs & Chicken were good, not awesome, but not bad. However, We also had take out, so we have to consider it was probably an hour before we actually ate, so we will have to eat in for best experience. Love the condiments being available still. Atmosphere inside is still great....
3/2025 The family business is the best food in waterbury ct.. you will not go wrong.. not connected to Frankie but a sit down grill.. the food is freshly made at time of order.. ! Not pre made, hot, great tastes and low prices $$$" TRY THE HOME MADE ICE MILK SHAKES. 😋 it is better than carval or basket robbin.. because it is ice milk not whole.. so if you are lactose.. it will NOT upset your stomach... This is a family community Restaurant with smiling owners and care...

The platter was advertised at $41.xx on the menu on their website but came out to a few cents less than $50.
The ribs and chicken were good, flavorful and tasty. However the brisket and pulled pork were dry and flavorless without the bbq sauce.
There were two one ounce cups of coleslaw which was the same amount as the bbq sauce.
