This place was decent since there’s not many near by. I didn’t have a huge appetite so I just got a beef taco which was just alright, nothing flavorful jumping out and a quesadilla but I got it to go. Only right up the road, but The quesadilla was really soggy heavy and it took 20 minutes longer than the time they told us it would be ready so those are the only downsides, but maybe give them another chance in the future.
The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The place has nice decorations hung up and the outside of the building makes it look a lot bigger than it actually is inside. The interior has definitely seen better days. It's giving 'depressed, single mom,struggling to make through the day' vibes. My husband is from El Paso TX. He has been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant for years. Mi Lupita is the most authentic to South West Mexican cosine as you can get. And they are the only place that makes Tamales everyday. The people are nice, the prices are good, It's real food made fresh, so it takes longer than fast food.
