I must say that I was really surprised with the quality of the food.it was my first time there so I purchased a variety of items to take home to the family. The chicken was so good. Cooked to perfection. The carbe asada is soft and juicy. The carnitas were cooked amazingly. Juicy yet xrispy at the same time. Usually a place like this does one item really well but this is not your typical place. They gave me a sample of their Birria and barbacoa. Just as delicious as as the other proteins. Also their sides were great. I bought rice, beans and potato salad. Definitely going back soon!

Food here is really good when it is available, I love the chicken however I always call ahead of time to see if they have chicken ready because several times they had a long wait for chicken and it wasn't available. Also the last two times I bought chicken it was over cooked and almost burnt. The owner is super nice and lets you sample the food they are friendly and the prices are alright I just wish they would get the cooking times right on the chicken, my family loves the food there but from now on I'm going to have to ask them not to give me the overcooked chicken I will still continue to eat here with just a few reasonable requests

The food was absolutely delicious! Everyone at our party enjoyed it very much. Everyone was asking where we ordered the food from. The chicken so moist and full of flavor! From my understanding its cooked rotisserie style "a la leña" (wood burning fire) which give it this unique delicious smokey flavor. Rice, beans, were bomb 10/10 and potato salad was ok, I've had better not gonna lie. The salsas were spicy and had a great flavor crowd favorite was the habanero salsa. besides the food being delicious and affordable the service from the employees and the Manager (or owner not to sure of his role) Felipe was outstanding! that alone is worth going back for. He was very friendly, very helpful when ordering, very accommodating to my party pack needs. He is a man who is confident in his food and has every right to be. we will be ordering from them again! Don't sleep on this place check it out and support small business like El Rey Del Pollo. They have other items there not on chicken.

Stopped in to place an order for catering. I was able to try the different meats which were all delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the customer service was great. The people helping me were very friendly and accommodating. Food was so good I even ordered food to go for dinner.

The food is delicious the service is amazing. The young gentleman, Victor, was so polite and quick with helping me get me order together. He let me try the Bedia, the Barbacoa, and the Menudo (excuse the misspelling)... and they were all three delicious! Which came to a surprise to me because I don't like Menudo at all, but there was so much flavor and it had just enough of a kick it definitely surprised me. I ended up with the whole rotisserie chicken with 3 sides and tortillas for a really great price, and of course like the other items I had tried I was delighted when I'd devoured what I purchased as well. Then chicken was moist and packed full of flavor I couldn't have asked for a better first time experience! I will be going back for seconds for sure! I'll have to take pics before I consume my purchase and post them. Thanks Victor for being such a big help. Keep up the customer service :D

Awful service from the employees, when asked for more pork skin on my meal they said they would have to charge 3 dollars because “ everyone likes pork skin” and the didn’t want to leave the meat exposed. I didn’t even take the plate I would never attempt to eat here again.

Found this cute little guy in my food not sure what upset me more the fact that there was a roach in my food or the fact that there was an animal in my food u know being vegetarian and all! She did give me my money back right away so that’s a plus!

Staff and service was friendly and attentive. The chicken was delicious. Well seasoned and roasted to perfection. We had the rice, beans, and potato salad as sides. The family meal we ordered included the whole roasted chicken, three large sides, salsa and tortillas for 20.99+tax. We will be going back in the future.
If you are in the area. This place is new. If you like chicken a must try. Fresh ingredients and they will try to accommodate what you like. Friendly staff and the green salsa is good.

Found our new spot!!!! Wish we tried it sooner! We went for tamales because we heard they were really good. As we were there they gave us samples of other stuff to try. And OMG we loved it and can't wait to go back for more. The tamales were soft, with great flavors. The fire roasted chicken was so good and juicy! We got a sample of the consomé and menudo, and that was delicious too. Great service and great food! Muy Rico y muy buen servicio!!

The owner is very rude. HOW CAN THEY SQUEEZE THE ENTIRE RICE AND MEAT ...In a small container.She was not accommodating and showed me she didn't care. She refused to sell an elder woman extra gravy for her food.I will never give her my business again.Awful customer service

So happy I took a chance and drove out here. Got the family chicken meal and took to a park with my family. The chicken is very flavorful and cooked with real wood fired rotisserie grill. The best part by far is the salsa. I love Mexican food in Los Angeles and big part of that is the salsas there, the green and red are very different than the bland tomatillo and chipotle you find at most places in the IE. This place had very deep flavors, which remind me of some of my favorite spots in la Highly recommend this spot, might come back to try the birra
