The service was pretty quick considering how many people were there,the staff was very friendly and polite and helpful, the food was excellent and was neatly packaged in a box with a cover put on that you can request for, definitely worth the price that it cost.
This place rivals blackie's for best hot dog you can get near Waterbury. They do a footlong style and are known for their sweet or spicy relish on a buttered roll. You have to get the hot dog when you go here even though there are some other things you can get that are pretty good. I would certainly recommend curly fries and a Birch beer but the hidden gem of this place is the fried mushrooms which have a buttery and garlic soft inside and crisp outside that kind of reminds...
Outside take is very Old school but at Frankie's it's just the way it's supposed to be . It it was a indoor restaurant you would never get through the door because it would always be packed
