The bread and pastries here are amazing! Love this place they always have a variety of authentic Portuguese delicacy’s the pastéis de nata always make my day! the Portuguese rolls are hard beat they also have authentic Portuguese sausage and other great options for the win! My Father always had bread from this place at home he would even freeze some just incase he ran out on a day they were closed! Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.

Just your basic bakery. They had the Portuguese sweet bread I was looking for. The sweet bread was ok, not the best I ever had. The woman behind the counter was great!

Below average desserts. Took bites of 4 different desserts and immediately threw them away. Horrifying. Low quality, in-your-face sweet without any richness of flavor. Might as well eat plain sugar and raw flour. I am a beginner at baking and even I do a better job. Their bread is fine.

Most authentic bakery in Waterbury remaining - pastries with no veg or canola oil, real butter, bread ingredients are clean with no added chemicals or vegetable oils. As kids, when we lived in the neighborhood, we would wait for the bus and we would go in and get a doughnut and juice 😃 !! The honeybun bakery wasn’t as good (the bakery prior to International). Good, honest family making fresh food with fresh ingredients. It’s a shame that people today are consuming so much garbage at places like BJ’s that they don’t realize what real food taste like. FYI: the bakery is crowded in the morning, so you better get there early!!!! ☮️
