Food is very bland. Something I was not expecting eating at a Spanish restaurant. Waiter did not speak English. The place is decorated and festive , however I was sitting there with my 11 year old son and there was a huge screen with naked women dancing. Not kid friendly in the least. Won’t be returning

Disappointed. We came on a Sunday when it wasn’t busy, but my $50 plate came out cold. I ordered the seafood mofongo, which I was really excited to try, but it ended up being such a letdown. My son’s mac and cheese also came out cold. The place itself is really cool and has a great vibe, but the food shouldn’t be coming out cold—especially at these prices. I really wanted to love it, but it missed the mark.

My first experience here was truly unforgettable. From the incredible ambiance to the outstanding service, everything exceeded my expectations. My husband and I enjoyed Happy Hour at the bar, where the bartender, Tay, welcomed us with exceptional hospitality. The ambiance, DJ and delicious food made it the perfect restaurant/lounge for our anniversary dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant and lounge to anyone seeking a fantastic time!

I went here on a Saturday night with reservations made for 4. Arrived early and was told that Table was not ready so sat at the Bar and waiting while we had drinks. After 30min Host came over and stated she made a mistake and table had been ready. Placed only orders for Entrees since me and my party were pressed for time. Ordered the Ribeye special, Oxtail pasta, Pernil and skirt steak. We waited a Hour and Half for the food to come out and other people being served after we arrived. The Food was Horrible and my Steak came out ice cold. I sent my Steak back and after requesting to speak to the manager he only apologized for the inconvenience and didn’t even offer to comp anything off the bill. This place has horrible Food and Horrible Service will not return and will not recommend to anyone.

Well, we ordered Paella $45 and we were not happy, was salty - the tostones taste like they refried (old- not crunchy) - 😔 and they have NY price for the food / the atmosphere was not all that for ladies night . Service, they took for ever to bring my drinks and I had to call the waitress to asked for my drinks, I think I waited like 20mim. So my experience was not so good tho. They need to read the reviews and take some thing in consideration

I wanted to shoutout waiter WILLIAM! He made a mistake with my husbands order on a busy Saturday night , but was super apologetic and polite about it. Good customer service is hard to come by these days… he is the true definition of great customer service. Thank you again William… we will be returning not only because the food is great, but because waiters like William!

Absolutely amazing experience at Mamajuana! The staff was super attentive, and the food was delicious — full of authentic Dominican flavors that truly brought a taste of the island to CT. The vibe and music were perfect, giving the whole place such great energy. The pepe colada was so good, and I highly recommend the skirt steak — 10/10! The appetizers were mouthwatering as well. I’ll definitely be coming back

All the staff are friendly and professional especially (Matt) who was our bartender. Matt is willing to go above and beyond for his guests at the bar with a positive attitude at all times. The drinks are fantastic with their own little flair that compliments the environment. The food is very good you'll never have to wait long for which makes it that much better. The only thing that I didn't care for were some of the prices for the cocktails.. just a little overpriced. Other than that it's a great atmosphere with tasteful decor, great food and amazing cocktails!!

The place was very nice, elegant even. But there was a but: the food and drinks were awful. The New York steak was old meat, the chicken was tasteless. The drinks were either too sweet or too strong; they weren't just right.

Came with my significant other since it’s his birthday week. sat at a table since nobody greeted us which was fine, no biggie. there was only one table and a few people at the bar. We waited and nobody came to our table. the servers did Not acknowledge us at all. We waited for a while and nothing. One of the male servers was just on his phone texting. we got up and left. Hospitality should definitely improved.
