I have never tried the food but I went today and they are closed I don't know if permanently or temporarily but the place looks abandoned I don't give it a zero review because it wouldn't be unfair without trying the food to give it a bad rating but they should fix it and put on Google that they are closed

Great food

The food is good but it is extremely difficult to place an order when the person who answers the phone neither speaks or understands English.

I can't begin to explain the great feeling of Walking to the restaurant and immediately feel welcomed by songs that transported me home and the smell of fabulous Dominican food. Service was great. At first there's was only one person but she did a great job serving everyone in a timely manner. It did take a while to get the food but I can understand why. Everything we ordered had to be made fresh and the food quality and presentation made it all worth it. We had seafood Paella cooked to perfection the seafood was fresh. churrasco was tender and juicy and yuca fries were crispier than I've ever had. The Mofongo trio was a delight of flavors. We're are definitely coming back with a bigger group. You can easily also order quick ready to go food. They had a great variety to choose from. So don't cook tonight and swing by to pick up your ready to go order.

The attention is very bad, the waitresses are not taking good care of the customers, they take more than 25 minutes to get closer to the table and you being there for like 40 minutes . The food came out salty and raw and when I told the waitress that my food was raw she did not say absolute nothing. the owners of this place should do e prevented since it is a shame that a person goes to a place behind Latin food and comes out like this. Absolutely disappointed in this place, I do not recommend visiting it to any relative or acquaintance:

This Spanish owned restaurant is delicious and fun!! They have karaoke on Fridays and live music occasionally on the weekends. The bar is smaller but cozy and they have Spanish food buffet style during lunch hours. The owner is a sweetheart and so is her staff! Love it here!

Their food is delicious. I tried them once and have already been back two times. Their chicken empanadas are some of the best I’ve ever had. Their chicken stew is also delicious along side the rice and beans. Definitely try them out!

Today I had a lunch meeting with my work crew and luckily we all decided on this restaurant. Mojo Nuevo is on a busy street so parking can be a bit hectic but IMust say this Dominican restaurant is lovely. The inside is so nice and so well kept, clean and nicely decorated. One of my coworkers and I ordered from the counter in front of the restaurant which is where they had hot foods to go . Different choices to choose from besides ordering from the menu. I ordered Carne Guisada with a side of white rice and sweet plantains. And my coworker ordered Bistec Salteado con Arroz con Gandules and sweet Plantains. My dish was very flavorful with big portions and price for lunch was pretty good too. Gratitude was already included in our check since it was a group of 7 of us. I definitely left the plate clean! Very satisfied. Service was very good too! Other in the table had empanadas, plantain chips with salsa, Mofongo, a burger.. a variety of orders and food and we were all happy! It's a lovely place ! If you are in the area definitely grab food to go if you want to try or dine in and check out their lively space! Menu isn't huge but has great options!

Everything was AMAZING! We ordered el pescado frito y el charrasco, OMG delicious!!! The mojitos were so GOOD!!! Reminds me of drinking on the island. And as for desert, ugh, delicious!!! Would definitely be coming back for more at least once a week. Thank you for the amazing food and service!!!

We stopped in for lunch and had a beautiful meal of tostones, empanadas, and skirt steak with yuca fries and rice. The meal was beautifully cooked and presented. Portions were very good because we both had enough to take home for another meal. Desert was tres leches with a guava glaze. Everything home made, everything delicious. Price was excellent. Service was friendly, kind, and passionate about the restaurant and their community. They have a take out buffet too. We will be getting a lb of roasted meat to go next time!
