I was craving some wings and wanted something local. I'd been disappointed with the size of the wings at a couple of my normal spots, so I figured I would try out Momma Bears Kitchen.I was NOT disappointed! If you are looking for juicy, plump wings, this is the place to go! I went for 6 of the Momma Bears special sauce and 6 of the Honey Hot. Momma Bears Special Sauce is like a honey mustard based sauce, very good and tangy, definitely a must try. Their honey Hot was on point. It was exactly that flavor I was craving! The wings weren't the crispiest, but you can't complain with how much meat is on those bones! Especially how juicy they were.I also tried the homemade oreo creme pie and it was fantastic, would definitely recommend it when you go.Overall a great experience and the prices were great. Definitely will be a return customer!

YAMS 10/10 & surprisingly not over cooked or over sweetened like other places. We like to go to different places all over ct, & BY FAR THE BEST I AM GENUINELY SURPRISED. Golden HANDS MAMA BEAR GOT! Delicious everything!!! & great portions & great prices. God bless them we finally found a new spot. My man never finishes his plate/ he’s a tough critic 100/10 ! We be back tomorrow! ?? ?

Well to start they got my order mixed up. I got the 3pc fish dinner with collards and Mac and cheese. Fish was ok, it was fresh. They didn't have collards had to take turnip greens, ok not the worst thing. The Mac and cheese tasted like pepper and pasta. I ordered my food a whole hr before I went to pick it up and it still was not ready. It was also hot inside the place which was annoying. To order my food a whole hour before and then go in a hot establishment to wait was even more annoying. But I will say the woman was kind.

There honey heat wings taste like regular bbq doesn’t taste nothing like honey heat but there banana pudding definitely has gotten better it’s Soo good

We got the rib combo which was okay at its best. Especially for the price, it could have been a bit tastier food. The Mac n cheese was probably the best part. The ribs were very small (3) and we think they were beef ribs. The collard greens had no taste.Also ordered a cheeseburger and fries. You can't really mess up a cheeseburger but it wasn't anything I would crave again.We did get a cup of gumbo which was excellent. Friendly suggestion; We think this establishment should lose their over the top menu and focus on just a limited menu. Especially due to the space of the restaurant.The gumbo was so good and had so much potential so maybe it would be good to limit the menu, so the items available can all be better quality!Customer service was alright, maybe they're a bit overwhelmed.

Fried chicken was not seasoned was unfavorable. Banana Pudding was made with instant pudding that was not done when I opened the container the pudding was dripping eww. Don't really recommend this place.

I usually don’t write reviews but since they’re a new local business i figured why not give a review! Great customer service and even better food! Also they have other great items I’m just a wing lady lol
