Disgusting is an understatement. Everything was greasy, even things that weren't supposed to be cooked in grease. The vegetables were all practically raw and mostly tough stalks. Overcharged us as well for 'lobster chow mein'. I don't know what idiot decided there ahoul be 2 types of chow mein, but this place serves the fake one with crispy noodles they give away for free + a container of uncooked vegetables with langostino tails. There isn't a single piece of actual lobster in the dish. If I was starving in the woods for a week and had the choice between New Moon and digging for bugs, I'd start flipping logs.UPDATE 12/2023: A family member had an issue with their burnt food delivery, and New Moon ILLEGALLY demanded it be returned in order to get a replacement, a practice that violates CT restaurant standards & practices.DO NOT EAT HERE!!! THEY WILL SELL YOU WHAT EQUATES TO USED FOOD!!!

American Chinese good flavors not tooo sweet and the Chivken Wings are easy lunch. Keto friendly but Rice and egg rolls the way I like them. Greasy goodness and soup. Take out is fast and fresh real food.

In General, the food is above average for the area. But some items shine! Ex: The Boneless BBQ Spare Ribs Are Amazing! Nice square cut, darkened crispy outside but not burnt and very little fat!The prices are very fair and have not changed too much over the years and when it does, it isn't by much.But... service needs work. They are not very personable or friendly, even rude at times. Very hard to even reach them to place a order, taking 15 - 45 plus minutes for them to answer the phone.This was edited to better reflect my overall experiences there, being as I have ordered from there at least a couple dozen times over the last 2 - 3 years.
Just moved to a new area in CT and was hoping to find a great Chinese food place! Overall, good quality and the proportions are fair. The price isn't horrible. I was just eating the shrimp fried rice w/no onions and I got bean sprouts instead. What I'm holding may look like a bean sprout, but it's a long piece of white plastic! I pulled it out and searched through my rice and found about 13-15 other pieces??? Could have choked. Unfortunately will not be returning. If it was one piece, I get it, things happen... but when there's over 10 white plastic pieces... I just had to throw out the entire container because I kept finding them. Very unfortunate. Honestly ruined the meal for me. And delivery takes over an hour to get to us which also kinda stinks. Off to find a better place. Wish I could get a refund for this because it's honestly unacceptable. And the egg rolls this time were stale and greasy I took one bite and tossed it. My husband said his meal was not good this time either and threw it out. $50 wasted. Please open your packages with care because I don't want anyone else to have plastic pieces in their food!
