I cant tell you how excited I was when I heard about Noochies. Being a former resident of this neighborhood, I was very fond of an Italian place that was previously at this location. I had pretty high hopes for my visit here and I wasn't disappointed! Everything was fantastic! The chicken parm with prosciutto and balsamic was superb and the pastry was top notch as well. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating too! Highly recommend 👌 👍

Their food is amazing!! I’ve tried a lot of different dinners and subs and I’ve never had anything I didn’t like! Last night I tried the chicken Marsala and it was out of this world! The portions are so huge that when I get anything from there I always have it to eat the next day!!

The “ women “ at the register on the weekend needs to work on her social skills. I won’t go back. Before they remodeled I was there every week. Went back this one time since they reopened, to a very miserable older woman. She should just retire.

THE Best Deli in Connecticut. Sandwiches are out of this world. And if you love pistachios then you have to try there pistachio croissants they are epic! Im sure theres other desserts that are good there too. You have to try this place. There food is must eat!

So good it doesn’t even make sense. I went on a recommendation from a local while visiting CT. I ordered a specialty grinder called “the something nice” (chicken cutlet sandwich) and wow was it ever!! Out of this world delicious!!! It was so good I went back the next night and had to try another sandwich and I had the Joey D(veal cutlet sandwich) …..another banger!!
I’ve eaten a lot of sandwich’s growing up in Philly a well know sandwich city. This was a different take on the cutlet sandwich and I loved every bit of it. “The something nice” grinder (on a hoagie roll) is now in my top 3 favorite cutlet sandwich’s all time. Cutlets were phenomenal. Thin, nice crisp and cooked perfect.
If you’ve ever eaten at a place and then ended up back there the following day, this review needs no explanation. Just go there.
Waterbury is lucky to have this gem in their locale. Shoutout to Johnny aka Noochie!! Appreciate you schooling this Philly guy on the local grub vernacular and I will definitely be back every time I visit!!
