I’ve driven past Philly Grill in Waterbury many times and kind of second-guessed it, but it really surprised me. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with fries and it was amazing—full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and the fries were perfectly cooked. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and my food was brought right to my table. Great service and even better food. Definitely coming back!
Update: I had to come back after how good my first visit was. This time I ordered the lamb and beef gyro with fries and it was absolutely delicious. The lamb and beef were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, and the lettuce, tomato, and onions were fresh and crisp. Two visits in and they’ve been consistent with both quality and flavor. Can’t wait to try the wings next!

Finally, a place that knows how to make a real cheesesteak. As someone born & raised in eastern PA, I wanted to see if this place could live up to the name. They got everything right. They even ship the bread in from Philly. The fries were out of this world. The owner was crazy nice and personal. I highly recommend.

Food is really good here, always made to order,wings here are better than most of the wing joints around here (wing it on, Wing stop) and they don't charge you for blue cheese with your wing order 😉 I love this place 😋

Went here today for lunch. 10/10 loved it. Customer service was great and so was the food. Everything looked sooooooo good I couldn’t decide what I wanted. Portions are good and so are the prices. I’ll be back 😊

I ordered for delivery. Everything was amazing. We got the evening specials, the burgers. Their burgers are so good. That's why I always order here. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure his customers have a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this spot. If they had desert options, it'd be too perfect.
