Got pastrami roll it came with little to no meat. Had a burger with questionable meat and the flavor was non existent. Very bland mediocre food. If you're a foodie I wouldn't recommend.

Wish I could give 3.5 stars. Italian combo grinder wasn't bad and as others have stated the bread was very good. Price was not unreasonable, but was not a fan of $2 charge per "premium topping" like peppers. It appears this is turning from a strictly Italian Deli to something more than that under the new management. Not necessarily a bad thing, but there are so many signs and pictures of food in there, it was a bit overwhelming. I much prefer a smaller menu, but I am sure there are some that appreciate the variety. I'd certainly go back, but is it my favorite deli in the area? Not quite my favorite, but don't take that to mean it was bad.
They are the best deli in Waterbury . even all the surrounding towns. The bread is perfect. It is to hard but not so soft it gets soggy. Perfect amount of onions and tops. Meat. Well they definitely don't skimp. It flows with tons of meat and good quality. My mouth gets happy on the firsy bite thru the end Btw. Their Roast Beef is perfecto too! Not well done. Nice and juicy and pinkish. Not rare. Just right.

Gotta love Santopietro's! The new owners have done a great job of keeping things the same, but adding on extras too. I can't wait to try more options from them.There sandwiches are great and fill you up. They layer your sandwich or wrap nicely and load it on. That's what makes these deli's better than chain ones. They don't hold back on the items and toppings.Ordering from here has never been an issue and the staff is nice to chat with.
