Nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We ordered the babaganush appetizer, chicken gyro platter, and tavuk sis. Eveything was exceptional in flavor and certainly in portions. The bread they serve you is off the chart good and you may have a hard time trying not to fill up on it. Very pleasant atmosphere inside and again, the staff are part of that. We went there to try something new and Sofra is a big winner! Happy we found it and...

Went for my mother's birthday and were immediately seated even with a large event there. The waiters were kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. I appreciated their ability to give us space to eat and relax as a family but be close by if we needed anything. We got the mixed appetizer plate to share which was amazing, and a Sofra which the staff helped us choose to see what we wanted. Nice to find such a gem of a restaurant in Waterbury!! I can’t pronounce anything on the menu but every single delicacy I’ve encountered has been exceptional!! Found myself having both lunch and dinner in the same day just to try the different treats on the menu! Their red lentil soup is out of this world! Ordered twice, ate once as a soup, and then as a sauce over pasta. Then the little bit left over I mixed with the tzatziki sauce and dipped the warm pita in it. Everything...
