Spartans is one of my favorite places for food and drinks. First the location is really easy to find, easy from both the highway and going through town in Waterbury. There is pleanty of parking available but be warned as the day goes on this place tends to get really busy in the evening side so parking starts to get very slim pickings during the evening. The building feels very clean, dosent feel dirty one bit. The staff is very friendly and is very good with providing service....
I do not enjoy pizza but they looked really good so I decided to try one and I can honestly say I now like pizza. This was the best one I have ever had and I'm genuinely angry I do not live closer to this place. Also the chicken parm was amazing and our server was awesome.
We chose this restaurant since it was close to where we were staying and we were not disappointed. We sat in the dining room since the bar looked busy. The server's name (on the receipt) was Koulla. Very pleasant and professional. The portions were very generous. My wife had the fried shrimp and I had the open faced roast beef dinner. Both were delicious. I could see this being a regular place for us if we lived here.
