What do you want me to say if you're starving you're homeless and you need some food this is the place to go there are many soup kitchens here in Waterbury, this is by far the most best one to my knowledge there's been plenty of times that I didn't have enough for groceries and I went here their customer service is satisfactory I now have an ID from this soup kitchen that provides me access to food pantry they also provide volunteers to do voluntary work handicap accessible the food is delicious the people are nice and friendly although it's in a bad neighborhood there are no problems when the soup kitchen is operating mostly since the operations are in daytime that is provided Street knowledge thank you for your time and patience to read my statement to all the staff who work there and all the volunteers thank you for helping us as humanity not many people help others but truly I can say this to kitchen does thank you for providing food for the homeless 🙏🏾

Great staff
Kid-friendliness: Kind staff
It was in and out. Something that was needed and delicious. Need not be ashamed to gain something good and quality time with self.

The website states it is now open. It is 10:46 am. It is not open. The line is quite long. Also I took an ID picture 2 weeks ago and it has taken quite some time to appear. This hinders me from signing up for a turkey and or other service and getting what I need.
As of today the food is great it have improved, just pray that the chiefs stay ??

Good people very good organization
my favorite restaurant because im broke?
This place is way more than just a soup kitchen. The staff here are always kind, respectful and generous. You can tell they are there to make a difference in people's lives. The meals they serve are healthy, generously portioned and taste good. The weekly food pantry is well organized with plenty to choose from - and the entire building is clean. I just got a turkey to make on Thanksgiving and they provided the sides as well, more stuff than I needed or was expecting. I also signed up for Christmas gifts for my kids. I've been consistently impressed with the way their staff treats the guests like family - that alone has helped me stay hopeful through tough times. Thank you to everyone who makes St. Vincent De Paul a possibility, there's days my family could not have gotten by without you guys.
Bad area but they get the job done and feed the people that need it the most
