Wish I could give them more stars. Today the crew took down 6 trees before 1:30, so it’s ribeye steak sandwiches and a French fries for a week well done. Everyone works harder when they know that the Meating Place is where we are going for lunch.

The best $16 I ever spent! Well worth it!!

My second visit did not disappoint. Delicious sausage patty with cheese, onions, and peppers on a fresh sesame roll. Steak fries were just like I like them. I called ahead so it was ready when I arrived. Sorry. No photo. Will definitely return!

EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS!
Went there for lunch because I was craving a burger. Food was top notch and just what I was looking for, actually way better than expected! Customer service is what will bring me back again and again, after my food was ordered it wasn’t so busy so the owner came and sat down with me and we talked for a while. They’re not just about the business they are about you too and making sure everything came out as expected! I will be coming back! Very friendly and amazing food!

This was our first time to The Meating place! it was unbelievably great food! everything was cooked to perfection, and the Rib Eye sandwich was Amazing! We will definitely be back!

Had a double smash burger about a month ago, the wife who is a sweet heart served me and the husband cooked it, great people great service, best burger I’ve had in waterbury hands down compared to 5 guys and wayback burgers. I give this place 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ overall.

It's nice to o eat at a different place, other than a fast food place. I really enjoyed going there. I will definitely go again.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicapped parking, & it's not a restaurant, it is a dine outside seasonal place. So wheelchairs can easily get to the picnic tables.

Amazing! The burgers juicy and cooked perfectly. All of the toppings are fresh, the fries are perfectly crispy, and the steak and cheese eggrolls are the best I’ve ever had! On top of the delicious food, the service is top notch and so sincere. This was our first visit, but we were immediately won over and we’ll quickly become frequent customers

I have eaten at The Meating Place many times always so delicious from the steak sandwich,fish sandwich,fried dough,hot dogs, sweet potato, regular fries and onion rings and for the cold weather delicous soups and they even had beef stew! They have specials too!! Well worth stopping and grabbing a meal to take home and in nice weather they have picnic tables to sit at and relax and enjoy this delicious comforting food!
