Always been a huge fan of this amazing restaurant! My work has taken me away from Waterbury...but the owner came to my table last night and said...veal parmesian...right? After three years away he still remembered my go-to dish at his wonderful place.
I asked about a great bartender there...named Marco...his mom told me it was a day off for him.
My date and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals...and we ended the meal with an order of Tiramisu...perfection!
I wish I lived and worked closer to Waterbury...I would be there constantly!
Awesome job guys!

I enjoy this place a lot. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and prompt, and I like the general aesthetic and vibe. I would recommend a stop here. Actually the plaza it is in has several good places to stop, though this is certainly the best one. If you are the mood for Italian American food, you can't go wrong here.

This is such an Authentic Italian Restaurant!! It’s Family owned which is delightful!!! From Calabria , how Authentic is that !!
Some years ago when my Mother. In Law was alive , we did some catering to our Home . Nick the owner came and Spoke To Her in Native Dialect!! What a wonderful conversation they had !!

The atmosphere is ruined due to the owners wife that treats only the regulars with any regard or respect. She is nasty and rude. In addition, we should not have to ask for bread in any Italian restaurant... it is a given that in any Italian restaurant you
get it automatically. We received 2 pieces of bread and wanted more but was not offered any. Our waitress was Ava and she was verpolite, efficient and accommodating.
What we ordered was delicious and would be the only reason for our return. (Along with Ava being there as well) . However we will make a concerted effort not to come in on a weekend when the owners wife is there. Our visit to this restaurant was very pleasant the first time we came in. When the owners wife is there it is an extreme difference. The atmosphere is uncomfortable not only for patrons however it appears the staff is on edge as well when this woman is present. In addition, the Pasta Fagiolo soup was awful. Progressive Soup makes a better soup!

First off, the restaurant had dim lighting and a dark ambiance which was nice. I would say that it felt kinda empty because there were not many tables.
The menu had minimal options to choose from but they were all staple meals. For the appetizer I got mozzarella balls and garlic bread which was very soft and buttery. The sauce also complimented the food well. For the main course, I shared the bruschetta with chicken. It was fresh with vinegar and greens, but the chicken itself was a little plain. You get a side of cheese so you can customize the cheese level as you wish. For dessert, I got tiramisu to go. The sweetness level was perfect— i prob could have ate two more slices!
Overall, very decent place to have a quick meal. The food isn’t extraordinary but is good for the price.

Awful service. Again. Third time trying it. Never again. Ava did not stop at our table one time to see if we needed anything. Awful service, average food. Unless you’re a regular apparently. Also, if you aren’t going to have your full menu available you should tell people that when they make a reservation or at least put it on your website.
Always excellent
