Best fried salmon I’ve ever had. Most delicious collards. Sweet soft yams and the baked Mac and cheese is amazing. Cheesy and flavorful. I love this place. They make the best soul food in Waterbury. Always give healthy portions and is quick with delivery. My favorite place to order. Thank you.

Never heard of this spot but I'm not from the area. I just drove there on a Wednesday around 3pm and ordered the fish and shrimp combo with mac and cheese and collard greens. Man everything was FIRE!!! The fish was nice and flaky, the shrimp had a nice snap to them. The mac and cheese was good, as was the collards.

We have been ordering from Trap Chicken for a while. Last week we ordered Fish dinners and each dinner had 3pc of fish. Tonight each dinner has 2pc of fish. Same size fish. Please. We don't have many good soul food spots in Waterbury as is. Please do not start doing funny business with the meals.

Fish fried so hard i couldn't eat it. I was looking forward to having the candied yams but I got 4 chunks undercooked. So basically over priced, over cooked and I'm still hungry.

Great hospitality, collard greens were a little too wet, maybe use a container for itself, causing the outside of my fish to get pretty soggy. The fish was undercooked to my liking but they gladly replaced my meal. Overall great customer service and interaction, food could use a little more soul!

so I went today to stop by and try their chicken because I heard I their chicken were good but this girl was standing by the door and waiting and stated they were closed but I seen people going in ordering food it says they close 10:30pm but I got there 9:30pm bad for buisness. I can't even give it a star because she stated it was close but yet people were going in to get some food
Those Sweet Chili Jerk Shrimp were A1, the sauce had nice balance of sweet and heat.
