Food was horrible. Smoke chicken was dry, could not even bite into it. Mac n cheese was bland. That is the 2x ordering. Horrible experience. Wasted my money!

So much food and so good! We got the seafood platter, full rack of ribs, potato salad and Mac and cheese. And corn bread, which they forgot one and I am only upset about that because it was so good!
The ribs were a little too smoky for my preference, but done to perfection. If you like smoke, these are it. The sauce was also good. They didn’t put too much on, which I like, so get extra if you like ‘em dripping.
The clam strips were a bit overdone, but still tasty. We didn’t mind too much. The garlic parm shrimp? Delicious. Whiting? Delicious. Fries? Standard Sysco lol which is fine.
I didn’t get to the Mac and cheese but it looked real good. My mom liked the potato salad (I am not a fan in general).
It was far too much food for the three of us but I am sure it will be just as good tomorrow for lunch!

Food was on point for southern BBQ. Service was decent but they had music and a TV going at the same time. Made it hard to have a conversation with the people next to you. So I wouldn't recommend dining in but the food makes it worth stopping for some great take out BBQ.

I just would like to share that this restaurant is hands down the best soul food that I have had in a long time outside of my own. And because I'm not able to cook my own right now because we are displaced I really appreciate the atmosphere the old school vibe. And the well prepared food good quality well worth the price the taste and we definitely will be back and my son is a firm believer now because before my hardship. I will buy the beef brisket and the collard greens and my son will try to say I'm not trying it because you know that's what kids do but he had lunch today there I had the beef brisket with the macaroni and cheese and collard greens potato salad and of course the cornbread is delicious the meals that they provide remind you of growing up. Made with love. it is well worth it thank you so much to the owner and his staff for providing us with two complimentary Meals. During my struggles.🙂

I've eaten here once before and I had the BBQ rib dinner which I thought was pretty good with the exception of the greens being a little too spicy, thank God I don't have acid reflux but if you do don't order the greens, the ribs were excellent. I have to tell you that my visit today was not as good as the first time, I ordered chicken wings this time and I was very disappointed, first they looked like they were fried in month old oil, second they were inconsistently seasoned one would have flavor but the next one wouldn't, and I wasn't a big fan of the shoestring French fries, I prefer a full size french fry with my dinner especially when I'm paying full size price.
