Went to this restaurant yesterday for dinner, the server who waited on us, had zero personality. I order iced tea (no lemon) of course it came with lemon I had to ask twice for the sugar, because the server heard and listened only to what she wanted to hear. Now for the meal, the menu had a ribeye with either potatoes or vegetables for $32.00. The server said they had one special tonight and it was a ribeye with potatoes and vegetables, so five of us ordered the steak, once we received the meal, the amount of food was ridiculous there was not even a whole potato and some carrots and broccoli, when I got home and looked at the bill these five steaks dinner that we ordered were $38.00 each so the special added $6.00 for a few vegetables. Now here is the topper my friend said to the serve that she wanted her steak very very very well done, when it got to me I stated like hers but very very very very very well done, when I my steak wouldn't you know I cut into the steak and out came the blood, my wife wanted me to send it back but I don't do that because I'm always afraid of what they do to the food when you complaint about it. My bill was over four hundred dollars with the tip because no matter how I feel I always leave a tip. But I can say my $40.00 lunch was 1,000 times better than this dinner.

Although a very nice and accommodating wait staff I must say this was the best part of our experience. The food was less than what we expected and quite frankly not good and tasteless. Our chicken piccata was horrible. The chicken was far too tough and far too much horrible sauce more like soup. All this over roasted potatoes which ended being more like mashed potatoes under my soup. Our first and last meal here.

I recently attended a dear friend's 70th birthday party at Filomena's and everything from the private event room, to the food, cocktails, atmosphere and especially the attention provided by Filomena's staff and Mike Buscetto, personally, was awesome!!! Filomena's is not just a superior restaurant/private event venue, it is all that but so much more!!! The atmosphere, camaraderie and energy that flows through Filomena's embraces you as soon as you walk through the door, or into the parking lot in the Summer!!! Mike Buscetto's mantra is "I Gotchu" and he does!!! He goes out of his way to make every guest feel special and always wants to ensure everyone is satisfied with their meals, cocktails, and service!!! Mike's family is ever present and they too have a way of making you feel like family!!! Heather, Sarah, Mena and Mikey are amazing along with all of the staff!!! The menu, from the appetizers, to all the entrees, especially the Italian dishes, desserts and of course cocktails, are delicious!!! A very special element of Filomena's is the Live music they have all year round which features local bands and musicians!!! In the summer the live bands perform outdoors and indoors when the weather gets colder. Filomena's is more than just a place to have a fantastic meal and cocktails, it is a destination, it is an experience!!! I was planning a small 40th birthday get together for my wife and decided to order some food from Filomena's. When I called, the owner answered. He suggested I have the guests come in and eat at the restaurant, and he would take care of me. He absolutely did just that. He gave me his cell phone number and allowed me to adjust the menu throughout the week. The food was awesome. The service was amazing. As soon as we walked in, we felt like family. This is a great place for gatherings. Everyone had a great night. Did I mention that he fit me in last minute? Mike and his family/staff made my wife's 40th birthday memorable. Thank You Filomena's!

We held my Dad's retirement party here, and could not have made a better choice. Mike was fantastic at coordinating the event. Any question we had, or accommodation that we wanted, they were extremely flexible for all of our needs. Steph and the staff were outstanding; the food was great, and the service was superb. Everyone was very cooperative and showed genuine hospitality. If I were looking to book a venue for an event in New London County, Filomena's would be at the very top of my list!
I cannot say enough about Mike and his TREMENDOUS staff and attentiveness…. What a spectacular job from the food to the attention to detail!! You have to try the Italian Nachos & tiramisu, hands down. Service was 10/10, our server was polite and attentive. The lady walking around with the desserts needs a raise! I give the atmosphere 3 stars because it definitely is a little run down inside but don't let that fool you, the food is immaculate. Lobster ravioli was a little undercooked(pasta, lobster was perfect) but great. My burger was requested to be medium but wAs definitely well-done. Will be coming back for more on the menu!!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs on entrance or dining room, ramp parking also.

If you don't know what great Italian food is, you'll like this Italian restaurant. Food is just OK, portions are small for the price, but the staff is warm and friendly. Service was very good. Little to no ambiance.

Just hosted an event for College Homecoming and our class was super happy and impressed with everything. The venue was large and comfy allowing everyone to eat but comfortably mingle. Banquet room being next to the bar area was also very convenient. Food was delicious and appreciated the ease of having a catering menu that was easy to choose from, tasty, and reasonably priced! Staff were very attentive throughout the night. All in all, a fantastic place to host an event of any size and will most certainly be back!
