I LOVE Nana's Byrek's Pizza, Penne Vodka, Meatball Grinders, Baklava, Cannolisi, And the fact they serve Coca-Cola! As soon as I try Nana's other dishes, I'm sure they'll be added to my recommended food list. Don't let the strip mall exterior fool you. Inside is a nice, clean, warm and super friendly atmosphere. She's an owner proud of her food, and she should be. A family business that has gone the extra mile for me. You just don't find people like Nana anymore.
Vegetarian options: Many Vegetarian options; but, Nana also cooks everything fresh and healthy. No frozen dough here.
Kid-friendliness: Kids roll their dough and make their own pizzas right at their table!

I ordered a cheese pizza for delivery. The owner answered the phone and took my order. I ordered a cheese pizza with grated cheese, to add to the mozzarella that it comes with. I was charged extra because I only ordered one item, a pizza. I live behind Nana's Break. The pizza was priced $11.00. I was charged 32 dollars and change becsuse the order was small, as per the owner. There is only one size pizza and it is a good size pizza at this restaurant.
The pizza was not that good. I will never go to or order from this restaurant again.

This place is a gem! Val & her husband and team are always welcoming, accommodating, and go above and beyond. I work at a salon nearby and my clients rave about Nanas as well. The food is amazing. Everything from a slice of cheese pizza, to quesadillas, salads, pasta dishes. I’ve truly enjoyed it all. They also give back to the community often. We are lucky to have such a great business in Waterford.

We came here to celebrate my little girls 7th birthday and they didn’t disappoint! They surprised my little girl with a special desert with a candle to blow out and sang her happy birthday! And the food was pretty yummy too!

To begin with, the flavors of the pizza were respectable. The tomato sauce was well-balanced—neither too sweet nor too acidic—and applied with a measured hand, achieving that coveted harmony between sauce and cheese. However, where the flavor excelled, the texture left something to be desired. The slice, when held, lacked structural integrity, with a noticeable limpness that detracted from the eating experience. Further, while the cheese was flavorful, it missed that golden, bubbly finish—a hallmark of a perfectly baked pie.
It’s worth noting that a slight tweak in preparation might make all the difference. On a future visit, I plan to request the pizza *well done*, which may resolve the texture and browning issues. While this slice fell short of greatness, it was far from the worst I’ve encountered. With its promising flavors and thoughtful sauce application, *Nana’s Byrek Pizza* shows potential—one I look forward to revisiting for a second chance.
