Was there for a shopping event which ended at 8, about 7:45 they started playing the song “closing time” extremely loud. I was there with a cousin and 5 work friends, and we were chatting and having a great time. We spent money on wine food and the event. We were still there at 7:58/8ish, and this lady that works there came over and said “ladies just to let you know we’re closed and I’m gonna need you to get going” So we got up went downstairs and were talking at the bottom of the steps and this was not even 5/6 minutes at the most later, and the same lady came over to us and repeated the same thing again. I love to support local but I’m not going back again. Talking to a few friends they have had the same experience. Just the rudest women work there, horrible customer service. How do you stay in business when you rudely tell customers to leave. Never again ✌🏼you don't deserve my business.

We held my daughter in laws baby shower up in the nest this past Sunday. I cannot compliment the staff and manager Alexa enough ! We had a wonderful time. I can tell you i will be recommending Hawk Ridge winery for any event! My daughter got married there a few years ago. They were so accommodating because the rain took over the day. She was going to have the ceremony in the vineyard but it poured out. So she was able to get married up in the nest. This establishment is top notch in my book. Thank you Alexa for everything ❤️

Why do you advertise drinks a certain way and then don’t serve them accordingly. The plastic cups are pretty tacky and ruin the vibe, especially for the price.

Greta service! Food and views! Live music, multiple food trucks and vendors! NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED! Also, multiple places to order wine from and they have beer on tap! Great vibe this weekend! Beautiful weather and the wrap around porch allows you to capture a beautiful sunset. So nice, we went twice this weekend!

Reserved a few tables in the pavilion for a birthday party. Was such an easy process. Not pressured. Outside bar was open and very convenient. Having the access to all the grounds was great. Kelly and staff was second to none. We will definitely be back.

What a place! Winery,picnic and restaurant. Getting there is tricky,but when you turn into the vrounds.OMG! What a site of beauty.You pass the vineyards to the parking area. Entrance like western tavern,infused with a Irish/Scottish pub. Inside eating and drinking is outstanding. Even got a loft. When you order your drinks ,it's amazing how the staff are so accommodating to all,and advise you the specials and array of thier home made wines and slushes.Not to mention the Food.We got the Pizza and Fries.Wow! Just right! Congrats to the chef. When you enter the back.tge scenery is to die for! Super serene and family accomodating.Kids friendly,And you it is American.Just by the large Eagle statue. The wines I give 4.5 to some and 5 star to other wines.I loved the Port. A must try all.you will not be disappointed. This is o e of the many wineries visited in CONNECTICUT. I rate this one 5 star +.
Hawk Ridge Winery is absolutely amazing! The setting is breathtaking with sweeping hillside views, plenty of outdoor seating, and such a welcoming, relaxing vibe. The wines are fantastic—there’s truly something for every palate, from dry reds to sweet blends and even fun wine slushies. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot for a date, a day out with friends, or just to unwind. Can’t wait to come back soon!!!

Very nice place! Definitely worth trying again. Had the cheese plate and a bottle of white wine. Surprised there was no waitress service. Had to go back in to get the cheese plate. Beautiful views. Great for sitting outside. Large outdoor pavilion for events or parties.

We had a great afternoon at the Hawk Ridge winery. Grandpa, grandma, mom, dad, and the grandkids all enjoyed Hawk Ridge. The adults all enjoyed the great selection of wines.(my favorites were the whitess) families and their pets were all picnicking and playing together on the beautiful grounds. there was a real party atmosphere. they had a great variety of food and snacks to go with the wine and of course soft drinks for the kiddies. Next time we will know to bring our lawn chairs.
