Finally got to enjoy Roma tonight. Lots of great choices. Veal parmigiana was about as good as it gets. Escarole, beans and sausage, long hot peppers in a marinara sauce, and a huge meatball for our appetizers were all amazing. Must plan ahead as reservations are the only way to get in on a Friday or Saturday night. Understandable given the high quality of their food and service.

We introduced our friends to this Best in CT Italian restaurant north of New York City. As a native from NY & 9/11 First Responder the food is Superb!, staff is friendly and attentive to include Tom, owner. Looking for a cozy, pleasant dining experience Roma is the place!

We had a reservation for 7:15pm and showed up 10 minutes early. Meanwhile, two other groups came in (also with a 7:15 reservation) and got seated before us, without hesitation. This left our party to wait another 20 minutes in the nonexistent parlor. When we inquired about the status of our table, the waitress was extremely curt with us. This, ultimately, was the reason for us leaving before we were seated. This was my first time at Roma, and I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. We went there for a beautiful, family evening and the attitude combined with the service made trying our luck elsewhere, a better choice.

Our first time and I could tell you its over priced. We each took two bites of our dishes (bland) and ended up bring them home. The steak dinner was 70$ and my husband who loves steaks said it had no taste. I had the Tutti de mar (one of my favorites wherever I go) No taste what's so ever. We were disappointed but the waitress was very nice so we left her a 20% tip. But this was definitely not worth over 205$ date night dinner. I almost forgot we did both like the Brussels Sprouts, those we recommend.

Very high end super fancy restaurant Small, intimate, romantic ambiance Not a place to bring children. More like for a date night or valentines dinner. The food is delicious. Be ready for an expensive check but its worth it.

Delicious food, good wine, friendly hosts and staff. The eggplant parm was incredible. So was the cavatelli with broccoli and sausage. Nice warm bread and filling salads.

Amazing food. I've been going there many years. The food quality has never changed. These guys are great. Keep it up. I miss Dave.

In the mood for clam chowder my mom and I stopped in for a quick lunch at the bar. It was amazing. The music was upbeat. The crowd was helpful- although I was asking strangers questions (which could be interepted as intrusive). That was not the case here. I don't typically finish my food (very slow eater) but I ate all of clam chowder in one sitting. I ordered the calamari as to accompany my soup. They were superb. The freshest, lightest, yet satisfying calamari I've had in some time. The portion size is huge. My mom ordered chicken parm and she was impressed. My sister had some of her leftovers and asked where did we go because she had to dine there! Itook calamari home and my 8 and 9 year old devoured the leftovers I warmed lightly in the air fryer. I plan to come back for a romantic dinner or maybe even solo date. I was told reservations are reccommended.

My husband had a work meeting here and raved about the food so I was excited to come. We brought our family along with us. We walked in and were stared at by the bartender, didn’t greet us…didn’t smile. We found a waitress who helped us to our seats. The menus we were given were visibly dirty. No drink menu offered. Ordered ginger ale for my son and I, completely flat. The calamari app was good. Then the entrees came. Only 2 of our party finished the meals. After 3 bites I couldn’t continue. There was no seasoning whatsoever to my dish. My mother in law vomited in the bathroom shortly after taking her first few bites. I vomited immediately after leaving. The service overall was cold. No one smiled. No check ups. We saw them say goodnight to every guest that left but us. It’s hard not to feel like out of place there, it’s apparent by the stares we weren’t their usual customers. Needless to say we won’t be back, just off service alone.

One of THE BEST Italian restaurants. I'm told that I am a picky eater. From the appetizer to the dessert, I can honestly say that every thing I tried was excellent! The only downside is it was extremely load, mostly because of a large party. We will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices for vegetarians.
