We go to local 63 every chance we get. Consistently great drinks, food and service. They have ever-changing vegan options, all of which are fantastic. The food is always well thought out and flavorful with fresh local ingredients. We're lucky to have such a great place in town.

Loved being here, and enjoyed my food! A small local bar/restaurant. And even though it is a bar and there were a good number of people there, it wasn't raucous or noisy on this Monday evening, which I appreciated...just people relaxing and enjoying one another. The small, hardworking, and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The burger on a gluten free bun was delicious. Would love to spend more time here.
Saffron and shellfish pasta was tasty but disappointed in the skimpy portion of shellfish in this dish.

After a long day of sports, I'm excessively hungry. The Local 63 is one of the all time greats for amazing food, and thick brisket on creamy mac and cheese with a side of buttery corn bread? Perfection. One of the best parts is the atmosphere. Having a great meal among old black and white pictures of main street in a room that feels somehow rustic and modern just makes ones day. I always critique restaurants on service as well, as I believe how quickly I can get a meal is just as important as the taste, and the Local 63 exceeds at both. When you decide to go, just know that every bite supports local businesses, as every crumb is locally sourced. Even though it only opened a year ago, its classic appeals and extraordinary dishes make it what everyone wants: good food, locally.

The drinks were superb. The service was exquisite. I love how they have local farm fresh meats, and other ingredients sourced. Was very good. The bartender did a great job with the drinks and recommending things. Really good stuff. Will be going back.
I've been to this spot multiple times, and have nothing but praise for this place. Great food, fun seasonal drinks that taste amazing, and the service is top notch. Our server was always attentive and around if needed, but I didn't feel as though they were hovering, either. They have great food for decent prices, but if you're looking to splurge their more expensive options are well worth it.

The food was amazing and so fresh. Service was fantastic and I cannot wait to go back again.
French Onion soup was excellent, apple-goat cheese & pepper brioche appetizer was odd but alright. Entrees were okay to good. The lamb pot pie was tasty enough but mostly just vegetables and laughably short on any lamb meat! Beer selection is good but nothing exciting considering their food menu is pretty unique & eclectic. Atmosphere is nice with subdued lighting, sparsely decorated but pleasant. A casual but generally nicer than average setting. Service was good but they also weren't very busy for a Saturday night. My experience is typically good here with friendly attention.
Menu was creative. Delicious. Service comfortable and gracious. Will definitely be back!

Delicious meal, perfect location to eat before a show at the Palace Theater in Waterbury! Service was very good, food was fresh and well prepared.
Took my husband for lunch to celebrate his birthday. The staff was, friendly and pleasant. The food and the service was on point. I will definitely go back.
Cute spot with great potential. Food was mediocre - (dry sandwich, unseasoned fries for +$4). Service was decent. Overall, I wouldn't rush back.
First time to this establishment. I didn’t know what to expect. The bar is the length of the room, but there was plenty of space between the stools and tables.
It was not too loud at all, but only about 1/3 full. We had a reservation and seated immediately.
Our waiter, Chris, came over immediately and brought water and took our drink order. My husband had the chicken sandwich, which is made on homemade bread and has homemade French fries cut as rounds. He said it was EXCELLENT and would order it again.
I had the pan seared salmon. It was very good. Probably a bit over priced at $30 for 3-4 oz over maybe 1/3 c of puréed pumpkin with a handful of greens and a tablespoon of dressing. But it was very tasty.
My son, unfortunately, did not like his dish. He had the pasta with sausage. He was expecting larger pieces of sausage and he thought the pasta was overcooked.
Overall, good meal. Very good service. Some of us will just order differently next time.
