I’m visiting Hartford after almost 20 years. This place is the first I wanted to see. The best croissants in this hemisphere are here. The place hasn’t changed it’s still as quaint and wonderful as always. The croissants are a piece of heaven.
I’m going to miss this place so much. The food js incredible and everyone is SO kind. The sandwiches are awesome, and any baked good will make you happy(:
Went in this morning I had a coffee and freshly made sandwich great coffee and amazing taste sandwich I also picked up freshly baked bread rolls.
best challah in existence, and lovely staff. a staple of west hartford
Delicious breads and pastries. The owner/baker is a pleasure to do business with.
Great service. We bought a delicious cake from Aby’s.
You really can’t beat Aby’s empanadas and prices. Love getting them for lunch!

Delicate exquisite Argentine pastries following in the finest European tradition of excellent detail and taste! Surprisingly the interior gives no clues as to the royal delights offered….This must be central CT’s best kept secret!. If you let appearances deceive, you are the loser. We tried just a few items: alfajores cookies, guava stuffed into turnover pastry, butterfly-wings(…sometimes called elephant ears), and beef empanadas…with cappuccino expertly made -foam design and all! As we were on our way out, a gentleman entering told us not to miss the delectable rolls!
We were so excited choosing items to try, that we forgot to add the Dulce de Leche & French crème coronet horns!!! We will return there tomorrow morning at 8am to get all we missed today! Buen provecho! Bon apetit!

I almost never find this place open despite the "open" sign being usually lit. The one time it was, the elderly woman behind the counter seemed to struggle with understanding English, then she ignored my questions. I walked out without buying anything.

Best alfajores in the United States. Celia, the owner has been working here every day since I can remember, since they moved from park rd years ago. Amazing find and a local gem, not to mention the first ever Argentine bakery in the state, open since 95’
