Quietly one of the best spots in West Hartford Center. The wine list is excellent, the food is consistently strong, and the whole place has relaxed European bistro vibes. The steak frites are easily the best in the center, and the flatbreads have creative, well balanced flavor combinations. The burger is outstanding, perfect bun-to-beef ratio, no notes. I also love that there are always special wines, cocktails, and other drinks, plus a menu that regularly surprises you in the best way.

Very cute place! My friend recommended this place for the GF options and also because she has had great experiences in the past!
As a first timer I enjoyed my meal and the vibe . I don't know why I have never been! I have passed by driving and walking right in the center of WEHA and never stopped in! Glad I did! Mediterranean flare ! Some flatbread with some nice choices of apps and main entrees. They actually have a great Happy Hour that goes from Tuesday through Saturdays 4pm to close!
I order a delish Gluten free Flatbread! The crust was unbelievable! So good! If you love mushrooms then you'll love Wild Mushroom! My friend ordered Branzino which she enjoyed too!
No dessert since we had to rush out but there's always next time! I'll need to go back!

One of the top on the West Hartford Center, for outstanding food presentation, quality and quantity- paired with exceptional service and great drinks- even the NA options excel.

**Do not walk past this incredible gem** Every bite I have savored, every interaction with the staff, every moment of comfortable enjoyment, has been nothing short of a rewarding experience.
I value my time. When I choose to spend it at a restaurant and I leave every time with the feeling Arugula gives me, I can do nothing other than sing it's praises and dream of the next time I get to return.
To Arugula, all team members & owners, thank you for being here.

Let me start with Christiane is a wonder to work with for coordinating a dinner for a company team dinner. She reserved the whole restaurant for our group and made last minute adjustments to seating to ease my mind so we could all sit together (VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!) She was excellent with communicating availability, pricing, and provided answers to every question I had., no matter how silly. Mike is such a sweet and attentive server and also answered my concerns before our group arrived. The staff was fabulous and attentive while still providing our group their space to enjoy the restaurant. The food was DELICIOUS with a great variety (the chicken satay skewers were my and another colleague's personal favorite). I will definitely share my experience with the rest of my company to promote business for this restaurant! Thanks Christiane and team!

I'd walked by this place multiple times and had never had the opportunity to eat here until now, and now I regret not eating here sooner. This place was fantastic! We were a party of four and I had called a couple of weeks ago to make a reservation - they couldn't find the reservation, but still made a point of seating us right away. This restaurant is very small; what you see when you walk into the restaurant is the entire place (there aren't any additional rooms in back). It's very clearly a family-run restaurant, with regular customers and a cozy, warm atmosphere that elevated our dining experience. The food was delicious as well! We shared the eggplant wontons, the calamari, and the fried calamari for starters, and then got two entrees to share: the branzino and the fish fry. Everything was superb and clearly made on-site with fresh ingredients. Our waiter was super friendly and checked in us often so we didn't need to chase him down. I'll definitely come back here! The one drawback I'll mention is that parking can be a hassle, since this place is on the corner of Farmington Ave and South Main St, so you might need to circle a couple of times on weekends.

This place is small, quaint, and charming. The service from Michael was excellent, and the food is our new West Hartford favorite. Get the curry mussels!
