A very relaxed place for good food and drinks with your people. Great wine suggestions. A couple of vegetarian and vegan options.

One of the best food places in west Hartford. Truly impressed with the chef’s talent. The flatbread was phenomenal- we got the wild mushroom which is drizzled in truffle dressing. An absolute must try, one of the best flatbreads I’ve had. The couscous is a staple and delicious but the prize went to the duck confit and wild mushroom ravioli. So much flavor, and the ingredients compliment each other very well in this dish. The only somewhat down side is that it is a smaller space, so you may require a reservation

We had not been to Arugula in years and popped in last night on a whim. Bottom line: Arugula is a true gem. Cozy, European style vibe inside, nice bar area, and while it’s a smaller restaurant, the spacing between the tables and walkways felt just right. Our hostess and waiter were both so kind. We had dueling martinis ? his gin and mine vodka - excellent. Escargot dish was so creative - not the usual approach and it was awesome! The steak was fantastic, juicy with great flavor. Israeli couscous with chicken was scrumptious- loved the abundance, texture, flavors. Lemon cake was decadent! Seriously perfect- we will be back- with friends!

This is a great place for an intimate dinner! I came here with a friend to catch up and it was the perfect place. We originally came because they have all night happy hour on Tues & Weds but the bar area was full (we came around 6 pm) so plan accordingly if you want to do this! Food & drinks were absolutely delicious. We got the Middle Eastern Sampler to split for an app- the pita was warm & soft, the tomato & cucumber salad was very refreshing esp because they added mint to it, but my favorite was the baba ghanoush which had a fun smoky flavor to it. We also split the prosciutto and artichoke heart flatbread which was yummy as well. Next time I'm gonna have to time it better to take part in their happy hour!

Love that spot. Serving really good food.Very quick too!Such nice atmosphere.Place is almost all the time crowded, so definitely recommend to order a table instead just go and try to get a table.Their duck with ravioli..delicious.Ive ordered also the onion rings, were good, but abit too much bread crumbs for me.Sauce tho..delicious.5/5 for me.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. It is definitely one of West Hartford's hidden gems. Great selection of wine and also flat breads. The atmosphere is everything you could ever ask for in a restaurant. Cozy and comforting....just like the food.

This is a very quaint restaurant. When you step into this establishment especially in the fall and winter you get a feeling of stepping into a whole other world. The food is unbelievable and the staff are great also. I remember when they were the newbies on the block and now they are the veterans. I'd have to say my top 10 in CT.

For the locals this is a well known place. The flat breads are larger than a good size dinner plate and could feed two. Try the middle eastern taste plate with three different dips. The have to try delicious Lemon cake with berry compote is a 1/4 the size of an entire cake it’s a two person size. Dirty martini excellent and the black manhattan seemed sweet but wasn’t. Good surprise. Total for two 4 drinks two apps and dessert $125 well worth it.

Stopped in for takeout while on a roadtrip. Service was quick, the staff was kind and the interior very inviting. Gave off a family style atmosphere with a priority on good food, drinks, and comfortable environment. The burgers were flavorful and cooked to the right temperature. They also have a good gluten free bun option.

What an incredible dining experience. The staff was exceptional, drinks were great, and the food was delicious. An intimate restaurant with a full bar, and dim lighting; perfect for date night or an outing with friends. They currently have an amazing special running - lobster toast. Warm, fresh lobster layered on top of their house-made corn cake dressed with lime-cilantro cream, corn, and tomatoes. Their flatbread is also a must order - I suggest the grilled chicken and wild mushrooms topped with caramelized onions, and the balsamic glaze just makes it. Although, everything on their menu is sure to hit the spot. Especially their Profiterole for dessert. No surprise they have been a beloved spot in the Hartford area for 27 years!

We stopped in for social hour on a Saturday afternoon when they opened. First of all, I love that they do this on Saturdays! Not many places have happy hour on the weekend. We had a few cocktails and the following apps-Chicken satay, cup and char mini pizza, calamari, and Korean sticky ribs.Everything was very tasty, I'd have all of these again! My top 2, pizza and chicken satay but the calamari was also very delicious. We are definitely planning to come back soon for a full dinner experience. The staff was super friendly, the chef kept coming out of the kitchen to chat with the bar patrons while there was no orders in.Our bartender was helpful and made some great cocktails.Definitely worth checking out if you've never been!

Arugula was one of those places I always passed by and was curious to try, so when my friend asked me to go there with her I was so excited! I knew that they had a lot of Mediterranean influence on the menu but wasn’t expecting the flatbread section of the menu - we ordered two and they were delicious! It was a fine dining vibe with really professional and attentive staff.
