Such a fun experience during Green Hours (happy hour). Everything was presented well, a little refined, a little whimsy. The Pickles were exceptional. Croquettes as if you were in a bistro in France. Seasoning was also spot-on. Left no crumbs.

Our friends took us here for a celebration lunch. The restaurant didnt seem that busy but our service was really slow. My husband had the Croque Monsieur which was over cooked and burnt. I had the Arugula salad with shrimp. My shrimp was undercooked. I pointed out the undercooked shrimp but nothing was said or done about it. As we were with friends we didnt want to make a fuss.

Nice spot. Got a very reasonably priced steak that was over seasoned (super peppery). But otherwise a good spot!

This spot has become the perfect halfway meeting point for me and a dear friend—and it never disappoints. We’ve returned time and time again, and each visit reminds us why. The service is consistently outstanding—attentive, personalized, and always so thoughtful.
We love to linger over the delicious charcuterie board, sip on perfectly crafted drinks, and catch up without ever feeling rushed. The relaxed yet elegant atmosphere makes it easy to unwind and truly enjoy the moment.
On our most recent visit, we were pleasantly surprised with a birthday firecracker and a decadent dessert—such a special touch that made the night even more memorable.
Avert Brasserie continues to be one of our favorite places, and we can’t wait to return again soon.

Food was way improved from the first time I went a number of years ago. This time it was absolutely excellent. Our service was spot on. I couldn't have been happier.

Good atmosphere and service. However, I’ve been there twice none of the food is tasty so it’s kinda disappointing.

Great restaurant top to bottom. Appetizers, entrees, deserts, wine, drinks service…the best
Had a very disappointing experience. Invited my friend for lunch on Friday to celebrate her Birthday. I ordered charcuterie board and one of the meets didn’t taste and looked fresh. Then we ordered arugula strawberry salad - it was too salty and arugula leaves wasn’t fresh. I thought that next dish will be better, but I was wrong, we had cauliflower with couscous. Cauliflower was burnt, black burnt. When I saw it, I couldn’t believe that the waitress even brought it to us. What happened to Avert? I have been there many times and always had a good food and service. I won’t be back and will not recommend this restaurant to people I know. Very disappointed.

The yoke of my poached egg was completely hard, the country pate was bland, rubbery and tasted old (and the accompanying toasted baguette seemed to have been toasted and then stored for way too long) , the smoked salmon tasted old as well, the salad greens had enough old/yellow-y/rotted leaves in them that it was quite noticeable, the fried potatoes seemed weirdly watery. The bacon was good! The waitress was very nice.

The restaurant had a nice ambiance with a romantic, dim atmosphere, perfect for a date night. Our server, Cindy, was nice, friendly, and attentive at first, but was gradually a bit more sparse as the night progressed, potentially due to the disproportion between staff and diners. Unfortunately, our meal wasn't as pleasant, for the swordfish was so overcooked that it was extremely tough and lacking in flavor. We mentioned this to Cindy, who was visually displeased/stressed but still helped us remedy the situation, and for that we were grateful. The duck was somewhat better and cooked perfectly medium rare, so definitely choose the duck over the swordfish.
Thank you for reading and best of luck!
