My husband and I had business in downtown Hartford, and decided to stop at Butterfly for lunch. Have been coming here for years when in the area. Once again, they did not disappoint. Food was very good, and the atmosphere was relaxing.

First time here, food was good, they worked with my dietary restrictions. I liked how the bar was closed off to prevent sound from bleeding over to the dining room. I have never had my groups water refilled so fast lol 5 stars!!

Butterfly is an upscale restaurant but their food is absolutely delicious! My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken. They make the best and freshest vegetable rice, with eggs in it. The sweet and sour sauce has pineapple and carrots in it that I always eat. Their food is always hot and my family and I enjoy dining in during the holidays. I sometimes do the lunch take out when I am working on the road.

I have been coming here for karaoke since 2008. I enjoy most of times I am here, and they have an enormous catalog of songs. The drinks are good and the prices are quite a bit lower than most other bars in the area.

However, the karaoke is not as enjoyable as it used to be. I think the current DJs do not rotate singers very well and I have seen singers go 2-3 times before I could go once.

Fantastic Chinese restaurant in West Hartford. I highly recommend it. A slight glitch on my last visit when my entree came out of the kitchen they mistakenly had beef instead of the chicken that I ordered. They quickly rectified the situation within 5 minutes
