When I first pulled into the Chick-fil-A parking lot, I was able to find a spot close to the entrance, which was a huge plus and very convenient.
After coming in and finally deciding what I wanted, Treanna and Matthew provided excellent service. Everything was spot on when I received my order while dining in. Isabella made my experience even better. She really put the cherry on top! 😊 She respectfully checked in from time to time, which definitely enhanced my dining experience. A great closer to an already great visit.
I give the food and service 5 stars. As for the atmosphere, I’d give it 4 stars. The floor could use a little more attention. It was slippery even though it was dry, which could be hazardous, especially for elderly guests. Other than that (a very minor issue), this Chick-fil-A is highly recommended. It’s new, clean, and the cooks in the back clearly know what they’re doing.

Subject: Serious Concern Regarding Unprofessional Experience at West Hartford Bishops Corner Location
Dear Chick-fil-A Team,
I am writing to share my disappointment with a recent visit to the West Hartford Bishops Corner location that left both my mother and me feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome.
I came in with my mother to order two frosted drinks but was informed the machine was down. The cashier was polite and let me know there would be a delay, which I understood. I patiently waited at the register for 20 minutes until a manager on duty informed me it would take even more time, so I decided to switch to another item.
While I was waiting, I witnessed an interaction between another staff member and my mother that was extremely unprofessional. My mother was sitting quietly at a table, reading an article on her phone, and already had an item I had brought her earlier while she was waiting for me to return with the rest of our order. A staff member—who I later learned was new—approached her out of nowhere and asked, “Are you ok?” in a tone that came across as condescending and intrusive. My mother was simply waiting for me due to the delay with the machine.
At that point, a plain-clothed individual—who appeared to be off-duty—interjected in the situation to say that the staff member was new. This prompted my mother to ask him directly if he was a manager, since it seemed only someone in a leadership position would know that information. He did not confirm or deny being a manager. However, while I was still at the counter, I overheard staff mention that he may in fact be a manager or possibly even a district manager who had transferred from Minnesota.
Rather than addressing my mother’s concern seriously, this off-duty individual responded dismissively and mockingly, asking her, “Are you offended?” as though she had no right to feel uncomfortable about the interaction. This response only made the situation worse.
To add to the frustration, during my 20-minute wait, I observed other issues in the dining area that staff seemed unconcerned about—a large family making excessive noise and leaving behind a huge mess for the new worker to clean. Yet no attention was given to those disruptions, while my mother—who was quietly waiting—was singled out inappropriately.
This entire situation was handled poorly, and it does not reflect the level of hospitality and professionalism I’ve come to expect from Chick-fil-A. What was meant to be a pleasant visit to a location I was hoping to frequent turned into a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience for both of us.
I hope this matter will be addressed promptly with appropriate coaching and training for the staff involved so that no other customers have to go through something similar.

Happy to have them in Bishops Corner. Staff is being trained and some delays are expected which will resolve. Nice seeing kids with a place to eat and enjoy themselves.
Never seen a more flawless opening day! I went for dinner tonight around 6pm. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. My food came out great. I got the chicken burger, waffle fries, mac and cheese, and a lemonade. Really great experience overall!
