Lovely inside but very noisy when busy-

This is the happening place to be on a Saturday morning. Stopped in for a quick bite and the vibe was jumping with excitement and enthusiasm. The food was outstanding and tasted. The service was impeccable. The NBA sandwich was delicious and full of flavor. The waffle was crispy and presented beautifully. A must stop when in the area.

We just tried to call in an order because we had questions and were told we could only order on line. That’s not going to work in this community. For their sake I hope they change that rule!

I just tried the new one in Old Saybrook. It was packed and the noise level was awful. I wasn't impressed with my sandwich. It had hardly any turkey,two thin slices of brie cheese and lettuce. It was served on some kind of hamburger looking bun and it was dry. My sister had to wait almost 20 minutes for avocado toast. That's ridiculous. I expected better.

a Nurse at Uconn health Nicu recommended here. service and food is out of this world definitely will be back.

I had the chicken Parm croissant sandwich….. and oh my God it was so good. Can’t wait to come back and try other sandwiches here and desserts and all the yummy things!

Went here with my family for breakfast, the interior is beautiful and this place has so much potential if they offered even ONE decent vegan item. They have a hummus toast and an avocado toast but both contain diary. I got the frittata (very mid and not alot of flavor) and subbed the egg out for tofu. I told them I am vegan with a severe dairy and egg allergy, of course the food came out with PARM CHEESE on it UGH. I also ordered a PLAIN oat milk latte and they brought me a honey nut latte with oat milk (not vegan 🥲) The staff had little to no knowledge on veganism and I did not feel safe eating here. I won’t be back, but I really do hope they have at least one fully vegan item in the future (not just a regular item where u have to make a bunch of substitutions) … heard there was a tofu scramble at one point, what happened to that? Dear Doro: YOU COULD REALLY EXPAND YOUR CUSTOMER CLIENTELE IF YOU OPENED UP YOUR MENU A BIT MORE AND WERE MORE ACCOMMODATING:))) PS: You are better off driving 15 min down the highway to have brunch at ION (an all vegan restaurant in middletown and their tofu scramble is AMAZING) Updated from previous review on 2025-01-19

Good food but employee was very rude to me when I spilled a drink on the ground. Service could be better.

The best chocolate cake I have ever had, in my entire life!
The chicken soup was also the best store bought soup. Better than my mom’s homemade chicken soup!

Very nice place

I ordered the Caprese and there was no basil, no oil, no flavor. The bread was hard as well. Very disappointed.

Thank you for the extra time I spent figuring out my budget during your closing time. I wish I could have stayed longer drinking the Delicious spiced hot white chocolate mocha drink. Atmosphere was very nice and cozy.

I would also like to put in a suggestion ... it would be nice to add some outlets for phone and computer charging while your customer enjoys the food and drink.

Fantastic atmosphere by way of the fantastic staff that made me feel very welcome. Sabrina you were tops and an extra boost in helping me with setting up my reviw made me feel like I already knew you.
