I hosted a holiday lunch here, and El Santo absolutely delivered. This was my second time dining here and my first time hosting a group, and both experiences were fantastic.
The food was excellent, the service was attentive and organized (especially impressive with a larger group), and the atmosphere was perfect for a festive but professional lunch. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and I received nothing but positive feedback from my team.
Highly recommend El Santo for both small dinners and group events, we’ll definitely be back!

Have come here more than a few times - this is an excellent restaurant; great food, service, atmosphere, all of the above.
Thank you especially to Brad the bartender for taking great care of us; he is extremely knowledgeable, polite, and attentive. He even remembered me and my friend when we came back!! He is skilled, efficient, and works with a cool demeanor even when busy (which is a difficult skill to achieve; I speak from experience🤣) And our hostess, Nasheli, sat us almost immediately AND accommodated my party - though we showed up without notice, and they had a private party bar. The food and drinks are excellent and so is the service. My personal faves are the tacos and esquites. Very authentic. They have a great happy hour and nice outdoor seating! Excellent service and atmosphere - if you are in the area; i definitely recommend stopping here!!

First time coming and the experience was amazing! I couldn’t ask for a better time. Our server, Brad, was so sweet and on top of everything. One of the best servers ive had at a restaurant. The other wait staff was quick to take dirty dishes and help clear the table. Food came out so fast and was fairly priced and super delicious! Definitely recommend the chicken flautas and Brad!! Our meal was ended with a 10% off coupon for the end of the year deal. Will definitely be coming back!!

Stumbled in here on a whim. This place is AMAZING! The food and drinks are absolutely incredible. The food is so fresh and the service is fast. Easily one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. We called the manager (Cesar) over just to tell him how impressed we were! He is great! I cannot say enough good things about this place… this is an absolute must if you are in West Hartford looking for Mexican food.

We had our monthly gals brunch here and had the best time!! They made a custom menu and decorated the table for us. Our waitress was Carolina and she was the absolute best! Highly recommend!

Such a great vibe. Happy Hour goes until 7pm. The handsome bartender made the best margaritas. Staff was very attentive and such great personalities. We came in for happy hour and stayed for a birthday dinner party. Staff was willing to allow use to bring in outside cake, and they helped make the moment special. At one point, they started giving dance lessons and it was like zumba! Food portions are large to match prices. The happy hour food and drink prices are friendly. I just want to really highlight the environment, the energy, and how pleasant everyone was, even though it was busy. Chelly was amazing, attentive, and on point with her service.

Met with a friend I haven't seen in over a decade at this lively downtown restaurant. The place was somewhat crowded, which was a bit overwhelming for my taste, but the food more than made up for it. The coquito was incredibly delicious, rich with coconut flavor and topped with cinnamon. The mixed ceviche was fresh and flavorful. We expected some wait, which is typical and parking was challenging due to the holiday season, when the area is especially busy. Despite the bustle, I had a wonderful time and will return.

We visited this restaurant and decided to try a variety of appetizers, and everything was delicious. We also ordered drinks, and our absolute favorite was the Manguito — it was amazing! perfectly balanced and super refreshing.
