Ever since moving here from Texas we’ve been looking for good Mexican food. It is rare to find a place with authentic “sazón” but this place makes the cut. Being of Hispanic descent, we tend to be pretty picky about Mexican food but it was excellent. Their bar is well stocked too and the drinks were on the money. The atmosphere is a bit crowded but I would expect that from a place that’s as good as this. The owner stopped in to say hello, chatted a bit and really made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back and likely make this one of our regular spots.

So we got there early enough were service was supposed to be better. The waiter forgot to put our order in. Service was terrible and slow. Food was good but overpriced.

First time coming and I loved the food and the drinks are extremely delicious. I Will come back soon , hopefully this time the front door lady will have me wait for a table to be available instead of telling me “ everyone just starting to eat , wait time is one hour “ when I only had to wait 12 mins .

Definitely come here! For the West Hartford people who know, bartaco is way too crowded, and honestly, you're going to pay the same amount of money, but enjoy the experience so much more at Frida!

Everything is delicious, can’t go wrong. Have developed a serious addiction to the Mole enchiladas.

Excellent food with interesting and delicious flavors. Everything doesn't taste the same like some Mexican restaurants. The staff is friendly and professional. The prices are reasonable and the food was ready quickly. I would definitely go back.

Try the chicken empanadas. The best I have ever had. The chef allowed me to swap the beef for their house made chorizo in the chimichanga. It was delicious. I went for lunch. Big portions. My friend had to take half of his plate to go. Wide variety on menu.

Food was ok, not the best. Service was lacking intelligence. And the atmosphere was good. I felt like a cucumber surrounded by pickles.

A favorite spot to hit up before a day of shopping. Good food and great drinks, service is top notch. The sopa de tortilla was a good meal starter. Followed by the Baja fish tacos with fluffy white rice. We also had carne asada with nopales, beans and rice, chicken quesadillas and camerones de ajo. Huge sharable portions. Doggie bags all around.
