Food is incredibly greasy and nasty. Blue elephant is better. Dry chicken. Nasty papaya salad and tom kha soup was made purely watered down and no flavor

Hot Basil is an excellent Thai restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and incredible flavors.

We tried the green pork curry, perfectly spicy and creamy; the pineapple chicken with rice, sweet and tropical; and the coconut soup with a spicy “pikkk” kick, rich and comforting.

Everything was beautifully served and full of authentic flavor. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Are you tired of looking for the perfect pad thai? I was. But then I had the pad thai at Hot Basil, and I was saved. The food and drink is AMAZING, stop wasting your time and try your luck here, you might be saved from bad pad thai too.

The food here was okay. The drunken noodle dish was the favorite. The hot and sour soup was brothy and with not many vegetables. I would try a different Thai restaurant in the future.

A fabulous gem in West Hartford. The food was delicious, packed with flavor in every bite. The crispy chicken wings and spring rolls were amazing, perfectly cooked and full of yumminess. Drunken Noodles were the best I have ever tasted. The cashew chicken stir fry was satisfying and delicious. Mango sticky rice was the perfect ending to on outstanding meal.

Parking: I myself love Thai food, therefore, this is a hidden gem. The food is very good in taste, flavor, and aromas. I enjoy trying different cultures culinary in foods and the beauty in the art of their execution of the variety dishes. I feel it's a great place to start if you are looking to visit a country you never been to by trying out the different foods within your surroundings therefore, you will get a clear idea of what to expect if traveling out of the United States. Highly recommend this spot it's small but with a family vibe with friendly staff. They will not disappoint you nor your meal.

The owner and his family were extremely kind. Food is top tier Thai food. The inside has very nice and I regret not sitting down to eat.
