Honestly, I was really excited to try this place because I read a lot of good reviews, but I basically threw my $7 in the garbage. I took 2 sips and couldn’t even finish it.
I ordered ahead online so I wouldn’t have to wait and they didn’t start my order until I got there, despite it not being very busy. Staff was nice about it though.
I ordered the Taro Milk tea, which I always order everywhere I get boba. It was white, which I don’t know if that’s normal or not but I’ve had taro tea dozens of times and it’s always been purple. I asked for 50% sweetness and it was so sweet, I don’t even want to know what the normal sweetness level is. It tasted like pure sugar syrup. Yuck!! And the actual flavor of the tea tasted nothing like taro I have gotten anywhere else. It tasted like sweet dirt. It was so foul I had to throw it away. Super disappointing.
This is my favorite place to get boba! I've been here countless times, and I've always had a spectacular experience. The staff is lovely, and the drinks are great.
Good bubble tea.

Boba tea makes my world go round and round.
King Fu Tea was founded in 2010, in Queens, NY. There are over 350 franchised stores in the U.S. Their process is, picking the most quality tea leaves, brewing it at the correct temperature, and steeping it for the right amount of time. The tea leaves are from Taiwan and it's brewed every 3 hours; the boba is cooked every 2 hours. The strawberry lemonade and orange green tea are made from freshly squeezed juices.
On this visit at the WeHa location, I was walking by and had to pop in. I ordered the small milk tea with grass jelly and normal sweetness. I loved everything about the drink. They had so many flavors to choose from, I was having analysis paralysis. There were signs to download the Kung Fu Tea app for discounts. There were plenty of seating and the place looked clean. The customer service was good. I look forward to going back to try out their other menu items.
Not great customer service. Ordered an online order at west hartford location by mistake and was not allowed a refund. My usual location mentioned that their is no policy against refunding drinks and on Kung Fu Tea’s website (q&a section) it states that if a drink is ordered online at a different location that you can contact the store with your receipt for a refund.

I was charged and never gotten my order. No one picked up the phone when I tried to call the store regarding a refund. Customer service is an absolute joke.

I really enjoyed the bubble tea here but I’ve been like 3-4 times and the place was closed twice out of those times when it was supposed to be open? So I’m just confused— are the hours on Google are wrong? I tried this Sunday afternoon and it was closed.

I came in to Kung Fu Tea for the first time and I must say, the staff is amazing and very attentive and friendly. They have may opinions and it was hard to decide, they were patient with me and made awesome recommendations. I had the guava tea with popping mango and it was absolutely the best tea I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place for tea and to have an enjoyable experience.
Kid-friendliness: I seen a few kids with their parents and I plan on bringing my daughters there again. Very friendly environment for kids.

Endured the chaotic service despite the nightmare of finding parking and traveling from a considerable distance to try this place out. The disorganization, especially with the women with tattoos, made the experience frustrating. If you're a person of color, consider going where you feel respected; unfortunately, this establishment didn't meet that expectation. I won't be spending my money here again.

Been to many Boba tea places and this is one of the best. Generous with the pearls. Consistently good. Parking always a hassle.
I wasn't greeted upon entry. They're young, so it makes sense that there's a bit of a lack of customer service. Once I GREETED them, it's was cool.
Parking: If there's a spot open(usually not), parking meters.
