Max Burger is a good solid choice for burgers and salads. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting and the staff friendly and accommodating.

The food is quite good with a nice selection of burgers along with protein alternatives like tuna and turkey. They also have vegan options should that be your jam. We ordered takedown out twice. The second time we ordered salads and a margarita. The salad dressing doe both were fine, not great. We ordered two different salads. The balsamic had way too much vinegar. The margarita serving was a couple of sips, literally. And it took a long time to get those few sips! Not sure we'll go again.

I love going to this restaurant when I'm back visiting Connecticut. The Gluten-free burger and sweet potato fries are delicious. They serve their ice tea is a cute little pitcher. The staff is professional, friendly and a nestolgic atmosphere that feels like home. They have an outdoor patio in the summer which is nice.
