Beware of this place. Ordered Vegan soup. I do not eat meat and have not eaten meat for 20+ years. Instead of tofu, the soup was full of chicken. I took 2 bites before noticing. I am beyond upset. I called in and was offered a gift card to be sent to my email. I declined. There is no way I can trust a restaurant that allegedly takes pride in their dietary restrictions and vegan offerings. No thanks. My day ruined.

I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something different to try also with the colder weather this place will for sure warm you up. First off soon as you walk in the employees are very welcoming! Our server Anthony is awesome he will take good care of you he definitely knows all the good stuff very friendly server he’s on point!!! The Ramen there is out this world good!! Very flavorful you can tell this place use fresh ingredients and take pride in the food they make. If you’re in the area definitely make a trip there.

Parking: It's not super apparent because there's no large sign when you pull in but it's pre-paid parking now.
We love this place! The kale salad is full of sweet-savory goodness and the confit edamame is delectable. The buddha bahn mi and the bao buns (every last one of them)-umami perfection. And of course all the ramens hug your soul on a cold, rainy day. Mecha is such a gem!
Vegetarian options: Buddha Bahn mi, shiitake bao, the kale salad, some pho and ramen options, many other menu items can be made to accommodate a vegetarian diet where indicated on their menu.
Dietary restrictions: Mecha does a great job making accommodations where they can for any dietary restrictions.
Kid-friendliness: The chibi ramen is great for picky kids as you can build on the base bowl. It's also fun to eat.

We always enjoy a meal at Mecha for their savory soups and good atmosphere.
Being a patron of pho, I’ve enjoyed coming to Mecha for it since discovering it a few years ago. It was our first time at their West Hartford location but this was just as good as their New Haven one. I specifically like the fact that you can get Thai chilis added to the pho broth which to me are a delicious addition.
We’ve tried some of their ramens and this time, their tantan noodles which are a dry noodle with a savory, meaty sauce.
It’s awesome seeing how they offer not just a bar and bubble tea, but options to have many drinks either boozy/alcoholic or not.
Parking is mainly in a public lot right behind it which seems to get busy around mealtime. I noticed that if you pay via the Flowbird app the smallest time increment is 1 hour, whereas if you use the kiosk it seems you can do a half hour.
Finally, on the topic of merchandise: if Corporate sees this, please consider selling the Team Ramen and Team Pho shirts, either in-store or at least online! I ask the staff each time we’re here and this time they suggested me to note it in a review. I’ll happily line up for a Team Pho shirt to represent my preferred noodles, and my wife would be happy with independent candidate Team Pasta 😂

First time at Mecha and I was very impressed with the food, atmosphere, and waitress Veronica C. She was very attentive and had a great personality. All the appetizers and main dish were flavorful. Will definitely be going again.

Went to this spot to meet with friends and our kids for the first time. All of my friends got their food except me. Apparently it was sitting out this entire time because they didn't know who it belonged to. Food came and I asked for a fork, they're like "oh, sorry...our forks are all in the dishwasher, you'll have to wait." Like what??? And then to make it worse, there were two older women talking crap about us, "oh, I hate kids, why did they bring them here?" Our kids weren't disruptive or acting out for them to say anything like this. Not a kid friendly environment at all; no food options for kids either. Never going back. They should've comped my entire order, not just my entree.

Went for the first time and the atmosphere was great. I got the chicken ramen and my best friend got the spicy beef ramen and both were delicious!! The staff were very friendly and our server was super sweet and attentive even though it was busy and made sure we were satisfied. I would definitely return.
I had a great experience here with my group of friends. The service, music, and food were excellent. Our waitress Breia was very attentive and informative about the food. She made our dine in great. Looking forward to going back.
