The Dwaeji Bulgogi was great. I also ordered the Korean fried chicken tenders, but they just seemed like frozen tenders, not Korean fried chicken.

I’m so confused after my experience at Pick n Mix today. I got the Bibimbap bowl with beef and it was delicious. I got the Korean corn dog as I heard good things and it was truly the most awful thing I’ve tasted in a while. Cheese was hard and congealed in the middle, tasted so artificial, and the meat was so awful I had to spit it out. I felt like I was being pranked. Avoid the corn dog at all costs!
Love the bowls and the sauces are great

Great value: you can choose your ingredients, toppings and sauces and the portions are generous. Wide variety of ingredients and casual dining room should make this a pretty good bet for most everyone

Usually this place is good, but I am finding that if you order when their main cook is not there you will not have a good experience.
I’ve been getting the Bibimbap here for about 10 years. To be plain, he past 3 times i’ve gotten it, it’s just unacceptable. Everything is overcooked and mushy. The vegetables have zero crunch and the spicy chicken is dry. It used to come out as a light, fresh rice bowl with crispy vegetables and great flavor, but now it is just a bowl of mush with no taste at all.
Order at your own risk at this point. Their Avon location was always the best.
Can’t beat this places prices. Super friendly staff.
Highly recommend getting the bowl - and get all the sauces on it. Brings it up a noch for sure. Thanks
great lunch spot!
This was the BOMB! I had never had a Korean corn dog before and I really wanted to try one and saw that they served them, when I say it was fantastic, it was truly one of the BEST things I’ve ever eaten in my whole life, I also tried the seaweed salad, the spring rolls, and the kimchi and it was all so fresh and tasty, everything was so yummy and you could tell that they really care about the food, the restaurant was clean and bright and the woman who helped serve me and my sister was SO kind and sweet to us, I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great stir fry! Chipotle style ordering but rather expensive for the amount of food you get.

This review is specifically for the fried chicken... Which I don't recommend if you're a fried chicken fan. The breading was way too thick and just tasted like dry flour. Hardly any garlic flavor in the sauce and there wasn't much sauce on the chicken anyway. Also while I wanted tenders and got legs (not necessarily the restaurant's fault as my friend put the order in)...They were absolutely ginormous, like, turkey sized, which tells me they are heavily hormone pumped, cheap meat. My cat didn't even want to eat the chicken meat... My friends seemed satisfied with their bowl orders though, so stick to this restaurant's specialties and you'll probably be happy.

I've had this place bookmarked for a while because I love Korean cuisine. My family and I decided to get dinner there late Saturday afternoon. Parking was plentiful. The restaurant is a fast casual environment with some tables. The two people working the counter was super nice.
We ordered two corn dogs for my toddler and as an appetizer. We had the cheesy potato and the cheesy meat. Those were good, hot, and crunchy. We also had a cup of miso soup ($2.50) and very small side of kimchi; the amount of kimchi given was not worth the $2.50. We got the Korean bulgogi which is thin sliced BBQ beef with teriyaki sauce, onion, and carrots.
Unfortunately, the flavor of the bulgogi was lacking in that dish, it was very bland and I didn't enjoy it. Eventually, I plan to go back to try out the bibimbap, spicy pork, and Korean fried chicken. The pictures online for those items, look pretty delicious. But for now, I don't recommend the beef bulgogi, unless they change up the recipe. Another downfall, they didn't have restrooms for us to use, we had to go next door to Dunkin. The place seemed pretty popular for takeout though.
Food is not authentic Korean food by any means.
