Portobello Restaurant West Hartford

I would walk 500 miles... Well maybe not walk 500 miles. But I will drive 350 miles round trip. Just to have dinner at one of my favorite Restaurants in my old neighborhood. Congrats to Kenny and his culinary and service team. Dinner for my party of 4 was delicious. The 3 specials Short Rib Ravioli, Chicken & Sausage Paella, and the Baby Rack of Lamb. The 4th dinner was our longtime favorite Gnocchi Sorentino. Walked out bellies full and pallets completely satisfied. Oh yeah, don't forget the Fried Burrata. Anytime I'm in Brookfield I will visit Portobellos. Love this place.

The food needs some fine tuning, but the waitress Dawn is such an absolute delight that the former can be overlooked. Such a great experience, mostly in part due to her attentiveness and honesty! We'll give the food another try next time we're in the area.

The food and cocktails are great, and the hospitality is even better. They know the service industry! Best happy hour in Brookfield. Wish I had discovered this place sooner.

An undiscovered treasure! Dee, as well as, the whole staff was wonderful! The atmosphere is quaint and romantic. The owner and staff greeted us. The food was out of this world! I felt like, I was in Italy! The service was fantastic!

Absolutely loved the food here!! The pasta itself tastes so fresh. We got the penne vodka and wild mushroom ravioli, which I would highly recommend. Vegetarian friendly. Beautiful ambiance. I can’t wait to come back again! The food was so delicious that I only got a picture of my cappuccino!

This is a hidden gem! The food is outstanding and so fresh! The wine list is amazing and our server Dee was so knowledgeable and made the meal even more delicious.

I do not recommend this restaurant as portions (veal Parmesan) has gotten very small plus they stopped giving a salad. My guess is they will be out of business within 6 months as meals are expensive.
