Best food in west Hartford center I specifically order the braised beef noodle soup because I like spicy food but i have never had a bad meal from here, they messed up an order once and fixed it immediately.

Food amazing, especially the soup dumplings (chicken)!! My issue here is the fact that I order fried rice, soup dumplings, spring rolls and shrimp lo mein. After I paid $70 including tip, I expect for them to pack my lefts over completely, everything I left.. the only thing I left was the Lo Mein, almost all of it, I asked for a container, she took the plate away and packed it herself. As soon as I came home and decided to eat the leftovers all I see is a small container with lo mein… it’s crazy to pay for food and not get it completely packed.

The food is SO good. Gives homemade vibes. We had pork bao, Dan Dan noodles, and scallion pancake rolls. Everything was delicious and really reasonably priced, and great service. Really fun to get a bunch of dishes to share.

I used to go there frequently as loyal customer and ended up with too many nightmares:
1. I showed them the water bug crawling on the table next to where my food was sitting, they smushed it in front of me with their bare hands, rinsed their fingers off, and then told me they don’t know about the situation, “it’s only because it’s summer so there’s a lot of bugs”.
2. I told them that their beef wasn’t fresh and they grudgingly changed it to something else, while gaslighting me as the only customer that ever had issues with it and ever complained about it.
3. I ordered the tomato noodle soup and ended up biting into a chunk of tomato that was obviously bad. I notified them of it, and they angrily yelled at me telling me that I didn’t owe anything for the bill, then proceeded to gaslighting me, saying that it was my problem, not theirs.
4. I went again a few weeks later. They ignored me when I was waiting at the door, then when I picked a table to sit down at, they told me they couldn’t serve me because I always had problems with my food and there was no way that they could make it right, even though I only had problems with my food twice out of the 50+ times I visited them.
Do not give them your business because if something does go wrong, they will gaslight you and refuse responsibility.

Song Restaurant is an excellent spot for Chinese food! The wontons are flavorful and perfectly prepared, but the real star is their fried rice—it’s easily the best I’ve had. Every bite is fresh, well-seasoned, and satisfying. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic and delicious Chinese dishes!

Ordering for pickup was easy on DoorDash. They accommodated my request for limited salt. Very friendly service. The food was great. I liked how I could add Edamame With Pickled Vegetable as a side dish. Parking on LaSalle Road can be challenging.

I went to this restaurant on 6/13/25. I will say this place was great for the food but when it came to the paying part of the experience, the older woman server demanded that I tip her a different amount than the amount that I tipped. This was my second time going to this restaurant and the first time, my boyfriend and I had an amazing experience with the older guy that served us. I felt very disrespected by the older woman and this establishment. I will not be returning.
