Sparrow is a mixed bag. Tonight the service was absolutely atrocious. The server facing the street and attending the right side of the bar was inexcusably bad. On occasion I’ve gone during the day for happy hour and have had good service with no real complaints and it’s been a generally good time. Sparrow at night is 0/5 for the times (after hours) that I’ve gone primarily because of bad service. This was not a unique experience tonight. It’s really sad because the happy hour is a good vibe. Also the DJ did not play good music (respectfully)

Given this place a few visits. Pizza is different (compared to what you usually see around here) and it tastes great, but the bartenders hospitality and taste of the drinks is sub par for what they charge.

Great music and night life on the weekends. I havent tried their pizza but i will update soon. Bartenders there tend to be very slow so brace for that or tip well to get their attention. Security and police are very strict so its a safe place to have fun

Thin pizzas with crispy cheese crust. They have a good variety of creative pizzas. Their truffle parm fries are always consistently perfect. Good happy hour deals as well. A must try!

This is the second time I’ve had a sketchy experience with security here during the nighttime. The first time was back in 2022. Another male patron wouldn’t leave me alone after I repeatedly told him I was not interested. My sister told him to leave me alone and he started screaming in my sisters face. Security was directly behind us. I tapped his shoulder as a call for help and this man shrugged his shoulders and turned back around. Today I decide to give them another chance. After waiting over 30 minutes in line, I watch the bouncers let in 6 patrons that did not wait. I asked why they got let ahead to which the bouncer on the left responded “dinero”. I said “oh okay so you pay, you get ahead of the line? Good to know”. The bouncer on the right continued to tell me to “worry about myself” then refused to let me in the bar. Highly recommended not coming here. Security does not check bags nor pat people down and clearly doesn’t care about the safety of their patrons, especially women. Highly disappointed I even considered spending here again.

Absolutely love this place!! The drinks, the food, the vibe were all on point! My husband and I got the espresso martini and the passion of spice drinks along with the truffle fries to start with. I loved their version of the classic espresso martini. The parm fries with the truffle dip was so delicious. We got the elote pizza and the ruby pizza with the hot chili oil. I highly recommend this combo! Really enjoyed the thin crispy pizza with the spicy kick of the chili oil! Highly recommend Sparrow for a nice date night and great food!

During our 2nd visit tonight we had the garlic Parmesan wings and ordered two personal pizzas. There was a minor mistake in our order and the manager went above and beyond to make things right. We will definitely be coming back sooner rather than later. Definitely recommend going!!! And please don’t pass out on the garlic Parmesan wings!!! They also offer gluten free options!!!

Really recommend the ‘Beat Bobby Flay’ pizza. The crust on the pizza is delicious - like crunchy cheese! I would also recommend the Truffle Fries as an appetizer, the aioli was amazing. Service was good, and a great place to sit outside on the patio - especially on a Saturday night when the town is alive & kicking! Will definitely be back!
