I'm a Pizza afficionado....there isn't much you can tell me about the precious prolific pies! Whether it's Chicago style deep dish or white sauced thin crust, I've had it all and then some. So while on my travels I stopped by Sparrows and to my surprise it was thin crust pizza which is my least favorite style. For starters I had the truffle fries and those were (in my Snoop Dog voice) šµ la da da da daaa...... them fries are G double O Deeee šµ. For the main course I had the carnitas pizza and the beat Bobby flay. Those both were excellent, even tho I am a fan of tomato based sauce pies neither of these had a sauce base, just the toppings on a thin crust. All the things I really don't like about pizza was right there daring me to devour them and not enjoy it. I did....but i absolutely enjoyed both to my surprise. I will be back to try more....but i will not be swayed, try as you may.....and i want you to try. LOL

Randomly implemented a new policy of not accepting international ID (only passports) at the door and for drinks. Been there numerous times and now they decide to enforce this. Iām not bringing my passport to a bar lol. Food is average. Drinks overpriced. Pizzas are more like homemade tortilla with cheese pizzas.
Itās been average beforehand too but havenāt been motivated to leave a review. However, given their inconsistency with implementing seemingly arbitrary rules and poor manners (learn how to spell someoneās name right), Iām leaving one this time.

Nice place, tasty food. Got order wrong, but fixed it quickly. Very quick service. We were a fairly large group. Staff very accommodating. Fun atmosphere. Thin crust 10 in. Pizzas A little too heavy on the truffle burrata

Let me preface this by saying Iām letting go the fact that on a Friday night you have to almost jump over the bar to get the attention of a bar tender. Some, but not all, act as if this is a Friday night out for them having fun. Not attentive, very slow, no pep in the step. The most disgusting part of all was the bar tender stepped onto the counter which was a rubber tray with all of the drink glasses on them. The bottoms of his shoes contacted the area where the rim of the glass was placed on. I couldnāt help but think I wonder how much dirt and germs from the bottom of his shoes just transferred to where we put our mouths to sip the drinks. I informed the manager. She said she would say something to him about it and asked where it happened. A few minutes go by and I donāt see her move a muscle. My friend who is in the restaurant business was appalled as well and informed the manager (Olivia I believe) and she again would look into it. Pitful that no action was made in the moment, and probably not subsequently. Not even an apology either.

bought a 58$ bottle of Prosecco to enjoy and only drank one glass because the bouncer didnāt believe me when I stepped out to smoke a cigarette, (I understand keeping underage drinkers out and keeping weha safe for all) I understand they have a job to do but they canāt assume everyone who asks them for help is trying to āpull a fast oneā I felt like I was being shooed away after buying drinks all evening after dinner. Maybe better staff communication and kindness from the employees to patrons. They wouldnāt even verify that I just bought a bottle (after buying 6 beers, 2 cosmos, and 6 shots) with the bartender I described, but kept telling me to wait in their line after spending almost two hours drinking there already. anyway, just go to Bricco or Viron and actually finish the alcohol you paid for without the dramatics.
Pizzas are a little small for the price but the taste is great and makes up. :) I highly recommend the truffle fries! A bit expensive.

This place deserves every star. Iāve come here for drinks, a fun night out, casual dinner, birthday dinner, and most recently came for lunch with family. I was already a big fan of this place, but our most recent visit sealed the deal. We had an adult in the party with many allergies, and our waitress (I believe her name was Melanie) was so accommodating, so kind and patient as she went back and forth between our table and the kitchen to assure the food was allergen free. We also had a baby in our party who was extra active and loud that day, but again our waitress was so kind and gracious. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere is great. I love this place and love how flexible they can be. 12/10 stars

My daughter and I had a great lunch at Sparrow. There was plenty of seating, our server was quite attentive, and the food was delicious. I absolutely loved the dressing on the arugula salad. I added grilled chicken, which was nicely seasoned. My daughter had fun creating her own pizza. The hot honey drizzle was fantastic. We will definitely dine there again!
