The Elbow Room Reviews
The Elbow Room is an awesome venue, the food and drinks they have are great and reasonably priced, I'm a big fan of their wings and tacos.
I go to the open mic comedy nights on Thursdays, and I throw fun comedy shows/parties in the basement around once a month on Fridays with about 50 people, and everyone always hangs out on the rooftop after now that the weather is warmer.
The Elbow Room is a staple of West Hartford and almost everyone knows about it.
The Elbow Room & Tap Room offers an amazing atmosphere full of like minded sports fans. I would really recommend this location for the wings & on tap beers.

The Elbow Room offers a diverse menu with options ranging from small plates to entrees like glazed salmon and steak frites. Their signature dishes include Elbow Room Mac and cheese, fajita bowls, and shrimp carbonara. This restaurant is known for its large dining room and a bar with a wide selection of beers, featuring a rooftop bar and outside seating that many enjoy. The atmosphere is welcoming for friends and family, with pleasant staff providing friendly service, although some customers have found the staff to be only moderately friendly. While the attached bar can be loud, especially downstairs where the music is almost imperceptible, the variety of beers on tap makes up for it. Customers have mentioned that ordering drinks can take time and they might not be as strong as those ordered at tables. The location near an intersection makes it a standout spot in the area, although parking can be tricky, with a lot located in the back and no free parking available around the restaurant. Overall, it is a solid spot for a casual bar scene, especially with the fun vibes of the rooftop and the opportunity to enjoy live comedy, particularly in the upstairs room for bigger acts.
